Stayed at this hotel for one night. The location is perfect for visiting Henley. The welcome was excellent. All the staff were cheerful and efficient. Although I have read varying reviews for the Loch Fyne restaurant, it was very good. Both off our meals were delicious and our waiter on Saturday night was great (sorry can't remember his name). The... More

We stayed 2 nights for a weekend break in Room 6, top floor overlooking the market place, christmas trees and sparkly lights. It was lovely.......the room is big, large very comfy bed, spotlessly clean, high ceiling into the roof with old wooden beams gallore. The en-suite was a good size, a shower, no bath. The shower cubicle needs a scrub... More

Our room was of a very good size and the bed comfy. Good price to include breakfast. The location in this lovely town is excellent. The bathroom does need some attention though, the shower curtain probably needs replacing. The washbasin is tiny, and one of the towel rails fell off its fixing. The tiling/grouting in the shower needs attending to.... More

Stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it, the room was big the on-suite was a good size and overhaul the room was very nice. The bed was so comfy and all the bedding was good quality and fresh. This room (7) was on the top floor and overlooked the road at the front but wouldn't say it was... More

I spend much of my life staying in anonymous, chain hotels for business and when I find a hotel with a little character, I seize on the chance to stay there. I wasn't disappointed with Milsoms. The location is great - 10 minutes walk from the station in the middle on Henley. It's an old house, converted and belongs to... More

I was slightly worried about the room sizes after seeing other reviews, but our room was really spacious, although friends with us did have a smaller room. Butt it didn't matter as the location was spot on for exploring and being near everything you need in lovely Henley.

Requested a bottle of bubbly on our arrival, but this was not done (boyfriends birthday and wanted another little surprise for him). However, I did mention this to the manager and they were very apologetic and made up for it. The restaurant was very good, breakfast was excellent! Lots of choice and the best eggs royale I have ever had.... More

My husband and I spent one night here during the august bank holiday weekend. It was without a doubt one of the worst places we have stayed in. The only positive I have is that at £60 for the room and breakfast it was one of the cheapest options available in Henley. The check in was shambolic with the man... More

Stayed for two nights at the end of our 7 week European Holiday. Hotel is situated in the middle of town and it is easy to walk to everywhere. Breakfast was rather limited, not much fresh fruit etc. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Room rather old fashioned and matrass too soft and shower very small. Did not eat in... More

Greene King appear to run Milsoms and Loch Fyne. Sadly they have no email contact and obviously appear not to read TripAdvisor. I sent a text message but it was returned. Brand image is done no good by Henley on Thames (Loch Fyne and Milsoms) if our experience is anything to go by. Fabulously friendly staff - friendly is the... More
