We have been visiting various Hotel Du Vin hotels for the last 8 years and this is actually our 3rd visit to the Henley branch, but this was our best stay ever. I booked a deal in January for two nights in a studio suite, with dinner on the first night, and breakfast both mornings. For the type of hotel... More

Everyone at this Hotel makes you feel welcome. Whether you are staying for business or pleasure or simply dropping in for a quick drink or meeting, it's perfect. The bar manager Antonio and his team will ensure you are treated like VIPs whether you want a pot of tea, classic cocktail or fine wine. Front of house staff are fantastic... More

We popped in for a meeting and a cigar. Thanks to the engaging and attentive service there was scarcely time to discuss business as we were convinced into a 3 course meal no half measures. Not sure if this was due to our reckless impulsiveness or some excellent upselling from our waiters. All in all a very good excuse to... More

We stayed at Hotel du Vin for a weekend break. Apart from Henley being a unique town with all the history, the hotel is centrally located in the old Henley Brewery. This means everything is a short walk away. The hotel is interesting. Being an old brewery the space if not a traditional hotel, which means they have had to... More

Awful food, awful service. We were left waiting for a very long time and we had to physically go and find someone for help more than once as there were no waiting staff in the restaurant. Such a shame for such a lovely, well positioned hotel. By contrast the bar is great, but eat elsewhere.

Stayed here for my 60th Birthday a couple of weeks ago, it wasn't a very good experience for a premium hotel. I complained to hotel staff (in private to ensure no other guests could hear to save embarrassment). The desk staff told me to write to the general manager of the hotel. I have written to him twice and not... More

I booked this hotel for a Monday overnighter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I booked direct on their website a package to include room, dinner and breakfast. I accepted the invitation to go on e-standby to upgrade our big double to a studio, should it be available on arrival. This would be at quite a discount. The communication with the... More

We stayed in a "superior double" and were very disappointed. Firstly the heating was terrible: either the air conditioning was at 30' or it went off. Secondly the bathroom was upstairs, and the stairs were so creaky that I woke my partner up in the middle of the night when I nipped to the loo. Thirdly, the bathroom was up... More

From the five star welcome to the sad goodbye the staff at this hotel could not be more helpful. If you like bathrooms this is the hotel to stay. The hot bath on the balcony was an unexpected treat, wonderful, even in the rain. Stylish restaurant with attentive staff. A great romantic retreat. Particular thanks to Lisa at reception for... Lovely unique setting and indivisible rooms however my large double needed a deep clean skirting boards / bath / bathroom door all very dirty not up to standards. Great location Breakfast prices are ridiculous though. Good for business but cleaning standard of my particular room let the experience down.
