Lovely setting. Lovely building. Very uncomfortable room. Inexperienced staff. Average facilities in room for a luxury hotel. Had a drink in the bar and they didn't know how to make a whiskey sour. The barman tried twice and failed. A la Carte meal was only OK, not worth the price at all though. Had a very ordinary steak. Room was... More

We had our reception here and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. We were able to take advantage of the outside terrace, reception area and hire a room.We added extras to our day such as a wine fountain, chocolate fountain and the staff were very helpful.thank you

What more can I say; over priced in all areas. Therefore the food is not commensurate with the prices charged. The rooms should be spotless, perfect with everything working every time - they're not. Staff are not of the standard I expect of a hotel like this.

We stayed here for one night for my partner's birthday on 5th April and it was out of this world. An old converted brewery it has been wonderfully transformed. We had an executuve suite, La Grande Damme, which was delightful and amazing set over 3 floors with 2 baths side by side on the mezanine floor and the biggest bed... More

Stayed the night of 6th April in one of the Suites which was a lovely room with Big round top bath in the room with the addition of a big wet room shower. They had a great fixed price menu as well as the al a carte menu. Did have a problem with the starter of Pigeon breast being over... More

We only stayed one night and I have to say the room was fantastic. Breakfast was also very tasty and great choice. However the customer service is poor. It is like 'here are your keys, crack on'. No explanation of breakfast, no taking you to the room and explaining where everything is eg the kettle is hidden in a drawer.... More

Myself,Wife,Son and Daughter-in-law visited HDV on Saturday 29th March. The bistro has a lot of character,it was very busy that night, plenty of staff in attendance, our orders were taken a few minutes after being seated. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the side order portions were generous. The service was a tad slow, but nothing to complain about. All in all we had a very enjoyable... More

We have just returned back home from having our last 2 nights at the hotel. We chose to stay here as had a family wedding and thought the hotel would be a nice treat. I can't really say much about Saturday night as we literally checked in early afternoon then went straight on to wedding reception. The hotel organised taxis... More

We love this hotel chain and would always recommend them, the Sunday special of spending so much in the restaurant and then getting the room for a very good rate is well worth using, especially if your retired. Now Henley-on -Thames ...what can I say...not much...we were asked if we wanted a view so we said yes but we were... More

Dear Annette W, Thank you for your feedback on your stay at the Hotel du Vin in Henley. First of all let me apologise that you did not find the room to your taste. The hotel was a brewery in a former life, so our rooms all have an individual character; I am very sorry that you felt that the... More

I stayed with my husband for our anniversary and a getaway from the kids! Was the prefect tonic! Being a business travel agent I know good service and have stayed in many hotels. The room was fabulous and made the stay! We stayed in Laurent Perrier which is a river view suite duplex with the top room being the bathroom... More
