Hotel du vins have always been near the top of my list of favourites, however that is now under review. On arrival the hotel offered to park our car in the private car park as there is No parking at the hotel or nearby, they then changed us £15 for one nights parking. This was not obvious when we booked... More

Stopped here for a night whilst visiting Henley. Used their Sunday Steal offer which results in a cheaper room if you dine in the restaurant (min spend £75). Room was just off the courtyard and was spacious and to a high spec. Few little niggles in the the massive shower has nowhere to hang a towel and the windows overlook... More

Very impressed with this lovely boutique hotel perfectly located in Henley just by the river. Our room was amazing - river view suite, top floor open plan bathroon, balcony with hot water bath! Had a dinner at the Bistro and food was delicious - mussles in wine sauce was our favourite! Enjoyed glass of beautiful wine in a newly revamped... More

We had the same room as an earlier reviewer, complained about the terrible smell and blind and got met with a shrug. It's particularly disappointing to see that they must have been aware about the issue. On the whole the staff were helpful but we won't be staying at the chain again.

Henley is a lovely town and the Hotel Du Vin is, on the surface at least, wonderful to visit. No need to go out though, stay in and drink in the unusual bars, eat in the good restaurant and then.... Unfortunately we got put in the top rooms opposite the bar. Nice room on first inspection but in reality was... More

We stayed at the Hotel du Vin for a two night weekend break and were disappointed. For the first night we had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The set menu is hugely dissapointing so don't bother with this. I have stayed at hotel du Vin before in different locations , but this venue is particularly lack-lustre and tired and... More

hotel is ok but not as special as its website suggests. we asked for an up grade and the room was miles up in the roof, with a average size room and a bathroom up another flight of dangrerous stairs. normal room is expenseive for what they provide . good location very central. restuarant looks good with a nice atmosphere.

I love this Hotel du Vin, and stay here often. It makes a lovely change from the usual "business" hotels as all the rooms are different. Bathrooms are often fantastic, with rainfall showers. My only gripe is that breakfast service can be painfully slow....it can take an age to simply get a cup of tea. Speed is definitely not of... More

Dear Slesl, Thank you very much for taking the time to post a review for the hotel, and I am very pleased that you enjoy staying with us! I certainly take on board your comments regarding slow breakfast service. We have recently had a change in management in the bistro, and we are very much focussing on breakfast and methods... More
