When we arrived I think we walked in on a wake as there seemed to be a lot of unhappy people, but the staff were cheery and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with the charm an old building affords. I would, not recommend for anybody with walking difficulties as access to the room is via the bar, avoiding the... More

Well a lovely pub indeed tucked in the center of Henley on Thames just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the the town center. Just a stones throw from the town hall up the hill into a delightful pub with good food & ambience. Staff very friendly & more than helpful. Locals very chatty & friendly would... More

Straight up the hill from the town centre is the Rowbarge Inn. Perfect old inn, great beer, good ambiance. And good comfy beds after a long day on the Thames Path. Staff were exceedingly helpful, arranging FEB (Full English Breakfast) to order and making sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended by a couple of old codgers.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago, perfect location as we wanted to be close to the Tough Mudder race but within walking distance of town. Staff were very friendly and the food (evening meal and breakfast) was very good quality and value. Comfortable bed and everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again (yes the en suite didn't have a door... More

The Row Barge is a nice local pub and B&B. The location is a short distance from the town centre, which is a good thing, as the centre itself can be very noisy until 2:00-3:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Service is casual and friendly and the food and beer are excellent. We were not there for it but... More

From the moment we contacted the row barge to the moment we left the staff and management could not have been more friendly and helpful. The inn itself is quintessentially English, a 16th century oak beamed building with bags of character. The breakfasts were delicious and the owners kindly let our extended family take over the dining room for a... More

We stayed at the Row Barge Inn for a quiet night away in Henley. It was well located just off the town square and we parked in the large car park nearby although it is possible to park outside. We were given a different room from our original booking as the terrible storms had damaged one of the windows so... More

We stayed here for one night recently. OK, but really not keen on the “ensuite” having no door, would like to have been told before booking to make an informed choice. The bed, as a previous reviewer has stated was hugely comfortable, it has a memory foam mattress & they are amazing. The room is clean & warm, although the... More

Myself, boyfriend and 4 mates stayed at the Row Barge for New Year. We hired 3 of the 4 rooms in the pub which were all really nice. We were in the big one with the sofa. Awesome comfy huge bed - only down side was no door on the ensuite - so you need to very close to the... More
