I stayed here as I was attending a dinner at nearby Heythrop Hall. The reception at the bar was very friendly and I was taken to my room which was perfectly good for the price and served my purpose well, although a slightly more powerful shower wouldn't go amiss. Overall a nice little hotel at a good price

We stopped for lunch as it was first place we saw when in a bit of a rush. I was really not sure from the outside, but was very happy we tried it. Dining room was not very full but the only 2 staff on worked hard to make sure we had swift service, very attentive and friendly. Food was... More

We arrived on 5th December for an event a few miles away. Had a really lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and were there had we needed anything - we didn't. Our room overlooked the High Street and we were delighted with it - myself, my 20 year old daughter and my mum in her 70's. The church... More

We had reservations when we pulled up outside, but looks can be very deceiving. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming landlord who couldn't do enough for us...We were impressed with our room, spotlessly clean with a nice en suite..would highly recommend a stay here.

When we arrived it was like walking in to an old gentleman a club, everybody turned around in the bar to look at us. We didn't find the welcome very friendly so we were worried about the room. Fortunately the room was lovely and clean and well furnished. We stayed in room 6 which is at the front of the... More

Very quiet rooms which gave us a good rest, nicely furnished with a good functioning shower! We were warmly welcomed by charming, helpful staff and although they only serve food on a sunday, they provided information on excellent local places to eat. Later in the evening the bar proved to be just as friendly and comfortable. It's not the Riotz... More

We arrived here after a 14 mile walk, 2 good soakings & after being chased by a herd of very feisty cows & calves so a hospitable pub would probably seem even better than it was. However, The Fox really is very good. We were greeted very pleasantly & were more than happy with our room, comfortable with good beds... More

Stayed here before, so knew what to expect. Went down to visit the Gamefair at Blenhein Place on the 17th July 2014. Hotel hasn't changed still very good value for money. Six rooms, all en-suit well furnished and reasonable size. Very attractively priced for what you get, they don't do evening meals, but you are in the centre of Chipping... More

Good value hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms with everything working. Terrific breakfast! No frills, just good quality pleasant service from all the staff. Will definitely use it again when in that area!! Best pint of Hookey I have tasted, also a bonus.
