We stay one night at this hotel during a business trip. Nice hotel with lovely swimming pool. Nice location, convenient for public transport. Big double bedroom but little window so it got very warm at nighttime. Good breakfast, plenty of choices.

I booked on hotels.com who said the rooms have climate control… beware they do not ; not normally an issue with our summer in the UK, but it was pushing 28 degrees centigrade in the day, and in the hotel room at night I think it must have been about 25 degrees; so it made for an uncomfortable stay. Lovely position on edge of Cotswolds, not in a pretty town but we stayed in the hotel in the evening because it was like being abroad. Friendly staff especially a polish waiter called Daniel, lovely food breakfast was plentiful, the little outside area was so pretty it felt like you could be anywhere and there was a pool. Very good... More

We recently stayed for three nights at this hotel, and from the minute we walked in we were made to feel more than welcome. Our room was spacious and very clean. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent, plentiful as well. The staff were always attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Already looking forward to... More

The room was a good size but rather tired. The bathroom was very dated with no proper shower (just a handheld over a freestanding bath) and basin taps that are loose. We were above the kitchen, so there was a noisy extractor fan outside window. The staff were dreadful. The owner was totally uninterested in booking us in (my wife... More

We as a company take complaints very seriously and we do all we can to ensure you have a good stay at our hotel. We are very surprised to receive these comments. We could not check you in early as we explained check in is from 2pm as guests only check out at 11am. However if we had been made... More

The location, staff and choice of food and drinks were very good.Reception staff and bar staff were excellent. One young man from Poland,Daniel, was polite, helpful and lovely to talk to. The hotel is very old and would benefit from some refurbishment. Our bedroom was quite good for the price but the decor was suffering from some fatigue. As retired travellers we would... More

The good stuff: warm welcome, lovely old building, swimming pool, clean room, well stocked bar, super location. The not so good: the wifi in our room did not work and the decor was a bit tired. The four poster bed looked like it had seen better days too. There wasn't enough loo roll and no one answering the phone at... More

.....the Room 14 was directly above the passage between the Bar and Restaurant and the smell of those smokers in this passage way, both when passing through and in our bedroom just detracted from a wonderful stay. The Polish staff were very friendly and obliging. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied in choice from cereals to full cooked English and... More

We picked this hotel for a 2 night stop over on our way home. Attracted by a four poster bed we booked with the proviso that the room is easily accessible as we are both disabled and also have to carry a lot of luggage and equipment. The room, No.39, was situated at the top of the very tight car... More
