This is the first time the missus and I had stayed at a B&B and it couldn't have been any better. Our room was great: large, very well furnished and decorated and impeccably clean. The mattress was better than ours at home and the ensuite again was squeaky clean and well decorated, we even had Clarins and Molton Brown products... more

Experienced this delightful Cotswold B and B while visiting from Colorado. Our group rented all rooms for a Bank Holiday wk-end. The location, a very walkable1/4 mile from Burford, felt "far from the madding crowd" . The rooms were tastefully decorated and everywhere was spotless. The owner had thought of everything - hairdryers, hot water bottles, tea/coffee trays in room,... more

We took all four rooms at Cotland House for a weekend. We were given a warm welcome to a lovely home; the rooms were well furnished; the beds comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. Great breakfasts, including real fresh fruit salad. Fresh milk for the morning tea/coffee instead of those nasty little containers of processed stuff; and a fridge to chill... more

this b&b is a little gem - the room we had was a 'family' room which was huge - nicely decorated and very comfy - the other room we had booked for our friends was much smaller but still very nice - lovely touches around the B&B fresh flowers in the room - tea/coffee and biccies! the hostess was lovely... more

A wonderful B&B located close to the charming town of Burford. Shelley couldn't have done more, both before and during our stay, to ensure we had a comfortable and successful trip (e.g. help with booking taxis etc). We highly recommend Cotland House to anyone visitng the Cotswolds. more

Wonderful cooked breakfasts, great (although pricey) pub next door, short walk from Burford. Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated and had a fantastic roll top bath en suite. Shelley the owner was lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. There are some great walks nearby - I would recommend a weekend away here. more

Burford is a beautiful place and this bed and breakfast was ideally placed with a short, pleasant walk into the town ( well worth exploring) and many lovely walks nearby. Shelley was a wonderful hostess ,making us feel welcome and relaxed where nothing was too much trouble. The house was tastefully decorated with a light, airy feel and the attention to... more

I've travelled up and down the motorways from the northwest to the South many times and have often thought to myself I must one day detour off and visit some of the places these motorways by pass. One of these areas was the Cotswolds. My latest trip was taking me down to Surrey/ Sussex and this proved an ideal chance... more

What a lovely B&B. Can't rate it high enough. Breakfast is superb, our room and bathroom were spacious and airy, and Shelley is the perfect hostess, gave us short cuts to Blenheim Palace rather than trudge down the A40. If you're going to stay in the Cotswolds, stay at Cotland House! We will be back! more
