Unfriendly, unwelcoming,dark and dingy. Huge cobwebs in the bedroom, two lights out of three not working in the bathroom. Came back before 10.00p.m to find the bar closed and locked. And they had the cheek to charge us twice the price quoted on the website. Not a pleasant experience at all More

Very poor standard, dirty and more like a hostel or where lads on a stag night out would stay. Very disappointing . One person did reception, cleaning and served breakfast. Breakfast was miserable. my boyfriend and i had a wonderful two nights here back in august. we loved the food and the wine (although possibly slightly over priced). the general atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. the two ladies who ran the place were extremely lovely and we can't wait to go back and visit them! major bonus that they are dog friendly!!
