I stayed at the fox Inn last year, 2011, beautiful area, friendly staff and comfortable rooms - would be a lovely place for a party or private event.

This pub was about two thirds of the way along our walking route in the cotswolds. It came as a very welcome relief. My wife and I sat peacefully beside the river, watching the ducks while drinking real ale.
The food was excellent and I was pleased by the vegetarian choices. True, the cost was high but then we did...

Decided to go to The Fox Pub for a Paella evening having heard about the last one which had rave reviews and decided to try it ourselves. The paella was cooked by the barman's Spanish father and served with a delicious jug of sangria. It was absolutely delicious and couldn't fault it in anyway. The portions were extremely generous and...

I have never been so appalled with pub food as I was today at The Fox Inn. Pricewise, it was the same as any pub in the cotswolds, circa £12 for burger and chips, or fish and chips etc. However qualitywise, I have eaten better at burger vans. The burger was of that hideous rubbery consistency and in a cheap...

This makes 0.005% of the meals served here since our last ANONYMOUS complaint nearly 4 months ago ! (and there was no complaint made at the time, when we can actually rectify a problem). Reading the rest of the blatantly incorrect things said about my pub, it does suggest some "foul play element" by a cruel anonymous person.

We have just spent two nights at the Fox, the first away without the children for some time. This is a great county pub with excellent beer and food (which we did not think overpriced). The room was very comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely return if we ever get...

We came across The Fox Inn while traveling and decided to stop in for a pint. Found Paul to be a helpful host who gave us some very usefull suggestions for a local afternoon drive around the area. After looking at the rooms decided to stay in the Westwell Mews room and it was a lovely modern, tidy room with...

I held a 50th birthday party here for 30 adults and 5 children, we were able to have a band and also make the most of the idyllic location next to a stream overlooking fields. We were using the renovated Riverside room which was really nice
We had a barbecued lunch which was good, the salads that accompanied them were fresh...

Visited over the weekend prior to booking for accommodation for guests to my daughters wedding at a venue nearby next year.
Only one word...appalling.
How they can possible contemplate charging more than some of the splendid hotels in the vicinity is beyond me! The bar was old and dated, The garden was tacky and scruffy. The menus were printed on...

I can only apologise for what in The Foxes' Life is a snippet of time, but at this moment a horror story, with a ongoing problem of a "new septic tank system" which has had a myriad of teething problems, for which we are suffering the hideous consequences and are in a legal battle with the company involved. The smell...

Whilst visiting friends in Cheltenham they recommeded The Fox Inn for lunch. Unfortunately had a really bad experience eating here. The menu is limited and VERY overpriced for the quality. Luxury fish pie consisted of a few tiny prawns, 2 pieces of small fish and a whole tin of sweetcorn, oh and a random piece of leek?? for nearly £14...

Our family booked five rooms for one night to accommodate one couple and four families. Very disappointing: shower in couple's room had considerable mould around the tray and the toilet was outside the room; all the rooms in the pub (as opposed to the renovated area) are in desperate need of repair and maintenance; worst of all was the prevailing...
