My wife and I have just returned home after a 3 night stay at the Maytime. The location is perfect for exploring the Costswolds and visiting Oxford (both of which we did) and is very quiet and peaceful. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room which, although quite small, was beautifully decorated and well equiped with a lovely... More

We stayed for two nights in a beautiful room. Food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were friendly. Beware - the room we stayed in has a low ceiling and for someone who is over 6 feet like me, it was a challenge! That aside, whilst the room was on the small side, it was beautiful.

We chose this Inn because of its location in the Cotswolds so as we were able to visit Blenheim Palace and the surrounding villages of Witney, Woodstock and Burford. We were welcomed upon arrival and our room was ready right away. The staff were all very friendly and professional and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was very good... More

Last minute booking at the Maytime Inn. Lovely welcome and we stayed in the Hunting Room. Beautifully decorated and what a massive bed. Clean, tidy and bathroom lovely. the only thing missing from the room was a box of hankies. We ate evening meal in the restaurant and could not fault in any way. Breakfast was good but could offer... Chose to stop off at the Maytime on route to Legoland based on previous positive reviews.. After a quick jaunt down a country lane we were greeted by a welcoming sight. Loved the whole look and furnishings of the place, we were shown to our room 'The Hunting Room' and although not the biggest room I've been in, well laid... More

My son and his girlfriend recommended that we try The Maytime, after having been there many many years ago. We ate there last night, so glad we took his advice. The restaurant/ pub looks lovely, the food was delicious, with quite a varied, but not ordinary menu - though this does not mean a strange menu - it was good... More

We stayed here for a single night while at a wedding, despite arriving too early to check in the staff offered us the use of another room to get changed. Overall the customer service was far beyond anything I've previously experienced in a British hotel. As I only ate breakfast which was excellent (good quality bacon & sausage (but only... More

We recently stayed at this pub/restaurant with rooms with another couple of friends as we were visiting the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace. It is situated in a very pretty little village which is quite hidden away and very peaceful. The Maytime is beautifully decorated and furnished, as are the rooms we stayed in and the public areas are... More

The Maytime is situated in a tiny, pretty and peaceful village. We stayed here with family when in the area for a wedding. The ages of our party ranged from 87 to 9 weeks, and all of us were very happy with the Maytime. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 was because the Yard and... More

We stayed here 15th just for one night, I can honestly say it is outstanding, beautiful location and building, staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome, food was excellent, good price and presentation was second to none, the room ( the Tack Room) was lovely everything you needed and the bed was very comfy and the shower was...
