Stayed here for two nights. We were warmly greeted by Caroline and welcomed in with tea and scones in the lounge. Our room was great quality furnishings and fittings. Fresh flowers on the window sill and yummy biscuits to eat. The bed was comfy with a great duvet and pillows. The bathroom was well appointed and had a good shower... More

If you want the ultimate in a B&B in the Cotswolds, this is it. Excellent service, beautiful building and garden, great value, lovely location, and super breakfast. One of the best!

We spent four nights here and found it a delightful place. Most comfortable room in a comfortable house, with the added advantage of a sitting room for guests which we valued. Unobtrusive but friendly owners who know about high standards. Taynton is well situated for the Cotswolds. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a couple only 1 night at Box Tree. They have 2 rooms, they are small but still very spacious. The room is decorated English style very attentive to details. The bathroom is modern and quite large with luxury amenities. On arrival we were offered tea, which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet luxurious.... More

We spent 3 nights at this B & B located in the historic village of Taynton. Our room was perfect and every detail was well thought out, from the underfloor heating to the fresh flowers in our room and throughout the house. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as was the suggestion to try the local pub... More

This was a really wonderful place to stay. The cottage was beautiful and we felt well looked after with a delicious breakfast each day and everything you could want for in our lovely room. It really was the best weekend ever.

We've stayed at many B&B's in the UK over the years, some great, some not so. Box Tree Cottage is the best, why? I hear you ask, well:- The perfect setting, a quiet remote historic village set amongst the rolling Cotswold hills with beautiful dwellings, friendly people and to top it all no street lamps The room we stayed in... Couldn't find fault with Box Tree Cottage. A lovely spot just outside Burford, the rooms very inviting, the breakfasts were the perfect way to start the day and the owners made you feel very welcome (they even laid on snow for us!). We will be back. THANK YOU.

I've thought long and hard about why it was that Box Tree Cottage stands out so much. Yes it's in an idyllic setting, yes it's a beautiful cottage, yes the breakfast was amazing and the rooms incredibly luxurious, and yes compared to other cottages I've stayed in it is good value, but what really makes this place stand out is...
