Excellent attentive staff superbly kept beers. Fabulous fresh, locally sourced food. Would recommend for lunches and dinner. Wonderful gardens where we have spent many a summer lunchtime. Log fires for your autumn Winter visits.

We stopped off for Sunday lunch without pre-booking. We were welcomed in and given a rather nice table by the fireside. The food was good, the service courteous. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area ... or even if you're not!!

We dropped into the Lamb Inn at lunch-time after walking around Burford, on our way to Minster Lovell. I've reviewed Burford separately - it's lovely and worth taking time out to spend at least a few hours here. The Lamb Inn is on Sheep Street, a small road on the left as you drop down Burford from the A40. It's... More

Having had lunch earlier in the day we were looking for somewhere to have a drink and light supper, but there were 15 of us! We phoned The Lamb and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Within 15 minutes we were sat in the most gorgeous, cosy comfortable lounge with roaring fire. Comfy sofas too! We were greeted by a... More

Called in to The Lamb Inn for a lunchtime meal today, We had the most excellent Fish and chips. The Haddock was very fresh and tender and a good beer batter. Also a excellent pint of local Hooky beer and a great coffee as we sat near to the roaring fire. The Staff were very helpfull ,looking forward to our... More

We had a lovely meal for 2 at the Lamb. We were unsure of what to expect but pleasantly surprised after our pre dinner drinks in the lounge. The restaurant was far nicer than expected, posher you may even say. We could not fault our food although I choose the venison (as the wife hasn't tried it before) and my... More

Restaurant was virtually empty, we felt that we had to whisper! however food was excellent and they catered to our specific tastes. service impeccable and the room is beautiful with a roaring fire and stunning paintings. Desert was my favourite - white chocolate cannelloni and orange sorbet - yum!

We booked 3 nights for a few days relaxation away from it all. The Lamb turned out to be just what we were looking for. Lovely place and friendly staff. It was great to come back to after a day out and sit in front of the fire with a pint. Burford is beautiful with plenty of pubs and shops.... More

I took my wife for a birthday treat today. Great good, service and ambiance. Two courses were enough and at £23 per head plus drinks it offers great value for a more upmarket option. parking is available and the property itself is quite stunning. We will return

A delightful place to stay. Full of character and "olde worlde" charm, but with modern facilities. Very good food and service. Clean and comfortable bedroom (Rosie's). It would be nice to return in the summer to take advantage of the lovely gardens.
