We returned to The Lamb of a weekend break and the hotel was just as good as we remembered it. Lovely town and excellent location in a very nice country area. No parking on site but able to park at sister hotel nearby so not an issue. Very nice room, warm and cosy with good bathroom facilities too. There was... More

We were here again for our annual Cheltenham festival trip. Whilst we still love this hotel as with other reviewers we are concerned that it is losing its way. Attention to detail was lacking, staff appeared stressed and stretched and service as a consequence was not at its usual standard. We had long waits for all meals and the small... More

Stayed here on Friday 13th after spending the day at Cheltenham races. I would assume this is their busiest weekend all year. When we arrived we asked if they could contact our friends who were also staying here, they did - only our friends were still having the very nice breakfast served here. Whist we were waiting they booked us... More

I have stayed at this lovely inn many times over the last few weeks and reviewed it in glowing terms over the last couple of years. Unfortunately my last stay was not quite so enjoyable. Generally booking a "good" or "very good" room I have enjoyed the variety of classically country house decorated rooms. In particular I loved Auricular. Staying... More

My husband and I made a booking for an overnight stay whilst attending a wedding next door at the Bay Tree Hotel. As we arrived, we entered through a lounge with a little reception area to the left. Check in went smoothly and we were shown to our room 'Brewery'. I remember my first impression was that it was smaller... More

We booked to stay at the Lamb Inn for my husbands birthday. We had been the previous year and had such an amazing time, we decided to stay again, and we were not disappointed. We booked for the Romantic Hideaway for one night and the Gourmet Food Lovers break for the following night. I had emailed the hotel requested that... More

I had afternoon tea with 2 friends in this attractive old Cotswold hotel. Th tea itself was excellent, with a range of teas to choose from, plus finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, lardy cake, tartlets and a dessert. At £12 per person this was very good value. (There is also a champagne option for £20.) On the menu... More

On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to redeem a Cotswold Inns voucher at The Lamb, and treat myself and my husband to an overnight stay. We arrived in the pouring rain and as soon as we entered this delightful building we felt right at home. An olde inn just as an olde inn should be; all roaring fires... More
