2 night break to the Cotswold couldn't be better if you want to take a dog with you. Log fires and decent beer with great service. Room was clean and comfortable. Bar food ok but restaurant is a very worthwhile. Breakfast (especially the kippers) was treat. All staff and guests friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

This is a really classic ancient inn, stylish and comfortable bar/restaurant. Set on a quiet street off the main busy Burford high street. Quirky staff and clientele. Great for people watching! Steak to die for, although the accompanying chips and tomatoes didn't quite work.

We stayed here for one night as part of our 'tour' of the Cotswolds. We wanted to stay in a comfortable country pub and we weren't disappointed. The Lamb is in a beautiful location along a side street off the main street in Burford. Whilst there is no dedicated car park, there is the option to park in the car... More

We have just returned from a weekend break catching up with friends. The Lamb is a fabulous characterful place, within easy walking distance of the main street in Burford. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We ate in the bar on our first evening, the steak pie was amazing. On our second evening we ate in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during August. Perfect choose, the room was typically small but everything we needed was inside. We ate at the bar restaurant every night, it was just fantastic along with the service, there was even a log fire or two roaring away while we were there (about 10 digs outside at night!) but all added... Upon seeing the pub's old door and large latch, you hope that there is more of the same to come. There is. Stone floors with amazing ware, dark atmosphere, old wood tables and chairs, just a great place to unwind and have a drink and a meal. Dogs allowed! Very friendly staff. The room was very nice and clean, however... More

Every aspect of this lovely cottage was delightful, from booking to checking out. The inn exceeded our expectations to say the least. The rooms are inviting and comfortable, the staff gracious, gorgeous gardens, and dinner was sumptuous! Possibly the most wonderful meal we've ever enjoyed in a restaurant ~ coming from people who travel months at a time, that's a... More

Great food - imaginative -- compares with some of our favourite London places Great service -- especially maître d who could not have been more attentive Room very disappointing -- cramped and featureless with very basic bathroom -- metal bath rather dirty grouting etc etc

We have been 2 nights at the Lamb Inn during the Easter Break and we really loved it. The room we had was quite small, however it was very cozy with a huge bed, an espresso machine, a very clean bathroom and a lovely teddy bear to welcome us (we actually bought one to take home). The dining room is... More

I have visited The Lamb Inn on three occasions, once having a restaurant meal & the other two times having bar snacks, this place is amazing, from the food that has been unquestionably yummy to the atmosphere and the beautiful gardens. The food in the restaurant is pricey but worth it, the waiting staff are very professional. I had the... More
