A lovely setting inside and out. I liked the quirkiness of the layout but not for the infirm, maybe. The room was delightful. The only downside was the offhand manner of the management, in fact almost to a point of rudeness. more

This Hotel did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful welcome with an up-grade on arrival. The four poster was a bonus, as were the Molton Brown bath accessories. The room temperature was perfect and everywhere was clean and tidy and well decorated. The Staff were helpful without being intrusive (my pet hate!). My wife and I tayed just one night with another couple. Hotel is welcoming, friendly and well appointed - except perhaps the arm-chairs in the bar need recovering. We were driving through Burford and required directions to a local animal sancatury. The people at the hotel's reception were very helpful and even provided us with a printed map of the destination. more
