Excellent hotel, clean room which was well presented, friendly staff who were very helpful, well priced and in a good location. I wasn't impressed by the photos online but the hotel was high quality and the food was very good too

I stayed at the P and J Hotel on a trip to Nottingham to visit my son who is at University there. The hotel is just around the corner from where he lives in 'student land' so it was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant so if you need a night or two in Nottingham to... More

I stayed in a single room, which was fine, no problems, clean, warm etc. The friends I was with was a different story, in their double room. Shower could not be controlled, boiling hot, to the point of burning then stone cold, one towel between two of them, waste bin in shower room full of rubbish from previous occupants! Skirting... I do not reccomend this hotel. Me and my friend had a horrible night stay, we were given the a room on the top floor and it was absolutely freezing all night! We notified the staff and they gave us an oil heater which hardly warmed the room. There was also alot of damp in the corner of the room,... More

While this Hotel is quite small, this only adds to its charm, this is our second stay here while visiting our daughter at Uni. The staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are comfy and clean and we find it perfectly placed, just a short car or bus ride to the centre of town and far enough away to get... More

The hotel makes noises about being a friendly family hotel but it isn't. Reception is difficult, staff are inexperienced and the place seems disjointed. Why is it bed and breakfast but the restaurant is a separate company? It's convenient for Nottingham Uni but not good value.

7 nights stay at this hotel was just that bit too long! The rooms are cosy, but there was a big problem with cleaning. On some days the bed my weren't made. We had to ask for toilet paper. The reception staff were, however, always very helpful. The hotel is close to Nottingham trent university but a 20min walk to... More
