I do not reccomend this hotel. Me and my friend had a horrible night stay, we were given the a room on the top floor and it was absolutely freezing all night! We notified the staff and they gave us an oil heater which hardly warmed the room. There was also alot of damp in the corner of the room,... More

It is on the main bus route both to the city centre and to the university . It is not modern with new clinical furnishings !!, it has... More

While this Hotel is quite small, this only adds to its charm, this is our second stay here while visiting our daughter at Uni. The staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are comfy and clean and we find it perfectly placed, just a short car or bus ride to the centre of town and far enough away to get... More

The hotel makes noises about being a friendly family hotel but it isn't. Reception is difficult, staff are inexperienced and the place seems disjointed. Why is it bed and breakfast but the restaurant is a separate company? It's convenient for Nottingham Uni but not good value.

7 nights stay at this hotel was just that bit too long! The rooms are cosy, but there was a big problem with cleaning. On some days the bed my weren't made. We had to ask for toilet paper. The reception staff were, however, always very helpful. The hotel is close to Nottingham trent university but a 20min walk to... More

This was our first visit and the hotel was clean, quiet but a little tired. There were quite a lot of things that were needing attention like the hot tap was loose, a part of the shower was missing, a light bulb was broken, the bed was missing a divan drawer and some paintwork was peeling off in the bathroom.... Having stayed several times previously as a regular visitor to Nottingham I was very pleased to return to a much updated hotel I stayed in room 22 which was originally a twin ensuite room which has now been transformed into a very spacious en suite single. The bed and mattresses have appeared to been upgraded meaning a very comfortable night.... More

My family and I stayed for 5 nights whilst my daughter was moving into her new house and starting University. We have stayed here many times since my daughter started university. Our room was very clean on arrival and looked nice. We were happy to see they now have a tearoom which we were in daily. The selection is good... More

I have stayed in the P&J Hotel 2 years before and was very pleased at that time, so this time I booked it again to help my daughter who is in college there to move. We had a family room that was actually OK but had a horrible experience with housekeeping. Our room was really dirty, mold in the shower... More
