It's hard to elaborate on a review as well rounded as Kymto's. We enjoyed our stay every bit as much as they did and for all of the same reasons. The only subject that I would like to expand on is the food. We stay away on business on average 2-3 nights a week, and as foodies (not expert cooks... More

My family and I visited for an afternoon tea which was absolutely scrumptious!! The variety of delicious sandwiches was great and every cake was yummy! We were so full that we had to delay dinner that evening. Excellent price, service and of course food!! Will definitely return!!

Good find. Cost = £89 two people B&B - can't be bad! Old historic house set in lovely grounds which only has 16 rooms but focusses on weddings and conferences. Car parking on premises. Food good as were the rooms with comfy beds. Only 5 minutes from town and opposite the race course. Nice walks through woods down by lakes... More

Absolutely stunning building, great location. We were in 102, the Beethoven room and it really was breathtaking! We got a fab deal on Booking.com for just £79 a superior room! It's well worth booking on there but be sure to get the free cancellation and pay later booking and once you nabbed a room keep checking back, we booked a... More

We went for valentines day eve and was disappointed to say the least they tried to put to many tables in the dinning plus other things were not good so i wrote to complain the day later as we all know how expensive that day is. They got back to me and took on board what i had said we... More

Opt for one of the superior room`s which i did. You will not be disappointed. Restaurant food was average. The view from the superior room is lovely.Bathroom was large. Bar staff was pleasant. Will book again in the future.

Colwick Hall Hotel is an imposing impressive building. It benefits from large palatial bedrooms and bathrooms but lacks quality finish and customer service. Finish - rooms look as though they have been professionally wall papered but poor DIY tiling and finish in the bathroom. Poor room layout and carpets lifting in the middle of the room. You are left with... More

I am quite surprised by some of the reviews on here, as they do not reflect my experience at all. Extremely helpful staff particularly on reception, huge rooms full of history, ate in the hotel both nights- very efficient room service served with a smile, and very accomodating in the brasserie. I absolutely loved it, and will stay here every... More

From the picture of the hotel we knew it was going to be different than our usual stay overnight. The rooms was very spacious and ideal for two people to manoeuvre around and not have to squeeze in tight. BTW: it was an executive room. It had all the relevant gizmos you would want in a room namely hairdryer, iron... More

This hotel has huge spacious rooms... Some might say "too big" as the bedroom has like 40 meters and bathroom 30 meters :-) Anyway, for me it was nice and I've enjoyed it. Rooms are well clasically decorated, big sole standing bathtub was like from some middle-age castle, very nice! Breakfast was nice and even for the dinner the restaurant... More
