I guess if we had have read the reviews first, we would've been less surprised when a man let himself into our room using a key in the middle of the night. The explanation was even more shocking yet hilariously unbelievable. The man who was meant to be staying in our room was wanted by the police for drug use,... More

This is not a five star establishment - but for thirty quid for a double room, it isn't expected to be. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were polite, the essentials were well stocked e.g. loo rolls, towels, tea and coffee etc. It's a little bit rough around the edges, but for a budget hotel it was perfectly... By far the worst 'hotel' i have ever stayed in. The staff are extremely ignorant, practically threw the keys at me. I had to leave a note asking for clean towels, all the floors had paint all over them. We had a drug user in the next room who kept knocking on our door asking for to borrow money Wish... More

Awful awful awful. if shouldn't be open at all. We lasted twenty minutes then left and booked in at a different hotel, even though if cost us double this one it was worth it. The"hotel" is being renovated and is in a complete mess.... wet paint, threadbare carpets, dust, muck you name it it had it. The room was disgusting... More

This has to be the most "interesting" place I have ever stayed in. Carpet thread bear, missing roof tiles, curtains bearly hanging but beds clean....... ish (no black light available). If there's anywhere else available, take that one!

First off, I never checked out this hotel before booking it. I arrived not knowing what to expect. The guy who was at reception was on the phone and it took 20 minutes for him to give me my room key. When I got in my room, I saw that the TV was broke, cups were dirty, floor was supposed... More

Stayed here for a night out with friends. Yes, it's being refurbed, yes its not 5* hotel but honestly it was very good value when we went (we paid 15-17 per room). Staff were helpful. Our room even had a small kitchen and all 3 rooms we were given were clean, with working showers, wifi .etc and had or were... More

The worst place I ever stayed in my life. This shouldn't be open they say they are doing a refurb on it but that's no excuse it never should be rated as 3 stars it a shame 1 star rating is the lowest as it doesn't deserve 1 star. On the website it said it had a bar and snooker... More
