Wow !!!! still annoyed after nearly a whole Year.......................................... Well this 'guest' did have an email to confirm her booking and was well aware of our Cancellation policy. We even offered a 50% refund if re-booked, something I know other establishment do not offer. So please read your emails. Unfortunately this 'guest' nor her Husband will ever experience the food...
This is our fourth visit and the experience keeps getting better. We have been to other Michelin restaurants and Sat Bains rates as good as any we have been to. Having eaten at many Michelin restaurants throughout the UK , I would rate this amongst the best. We had a 12 course menu to which we added 2 further courses. "We would offer sachets of tea and coffee in the rooms but choose to offer unbelievably good quality beverages, freshly brewed in the proper filter/brewing system, Oh yes and we do charge for this....and why shouldn't we? Sat Bains.
We choose this place as a special treat for our anniversary and were instantly disappointed. The room was nothing but average. Since there were no tea making facilities in our room, we had to order tea downstairs and pay for it too.
