I've stayed here a couple of times on business and can't fault the place. Good central location, and although it does not having parking, theres a secure 24 hour car park across the road. Room was spacious and the staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good and again the waitresses were very friendly. I would probably describe... more

I stayed one night in the Citilodge before attending a conference in Nottingham. The hotel is extremely good value for money with a very spacious, spotless and well equipped room and a huge, comfortable bed. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food and wine were excellent. The lasting impression I have however is of the friendly and welcoming staff... more

This was a better-than-expected result for the money paid, the room was bright and clean and not as clinical as most inner city hotel rooms, equipped with trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, sky TV and a huge bed! The only downfall was the problems we had checking in. As a young couple on a research project we found... more

This is a convenient enough hotel for business travellers. The rooms are large enough and comfy, albeit somewhat noisy but that'd be expected from the central location of the hotel. The breakfast is nice, in an airy room, and service is friendly. Location, as mentioned before, is excellent, very central. There is no parking but a public parking can be... more

I booked this hotel directly on the phone for £60 per twin room. Very helpful and polite staff. If you do take the car make sure that you use the Talbot Street carpark which is close to the hotel. Ask the reception staff at the hotel for a reduction slip for overnight parking(£2-from 5pm-9am)to be used when tou leave the... more

I stayed 2 nights at the Citilodge and i have to say that previous reviewers have more or less got it spot on. Its a great place to stay for £60 a night. The only things that i can criticize is that the shower is very basic and needs a upgrade. Also the windows could do with better soundproofing to... more

I stayed three nights at the Citilodge and can highly recommend it. Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff - especially Andrew at the front desk. Air conditioned rooms of a very nice size. Modern furnishings. Very nice little touches - like cookies (biscuits) left in your room with your tea/coffee maker. Also a really good breakfast buffet in an airy, lovely dining... more
