We stayed here for one night at the end of September as we were going to see Michael McIntyre at the Ice Arena. Hotel was quite easy to find using Sat Nav and although you need to pay for parking, the hotel give you a token for a reduced rate, so it wasn't too expensive (about £7.00 I think???) The... more

Was given a room smelling of smoke when i had specifically requested non smoking so room stank and so did the bed linen. Room was next to the lift so there was a constant humming of the motor that was really loud. We complained and the staff said the motor noise was due to the lift cooling down so wouldnt... more

the hotel is situated very close to the centre of nottingham.. just a 5 min walk to the old market square. Its very close to Rock City very handy if someone is attending a gig.. but some people might find that a bit offputting.. but I didnt hear much noise and I was there over a weekend. The room was... more

Myself and 8 friends stayed here at the beginning of May to celebrate my hen weekend. We only stayed for the one night. The hotel was quite a nightmare to find and we found ourselves going around the one way system in Nottingham town centre more than once! We got there in the end and were quite impressed. Service was... more

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is close to lots of places to eat and other guests told me the hotel restaurant was excellent too. Worth knowing that if you don't mind your car being locked in overnight, you can use the multistorey car park immediately adjacent to the hotel for just £5 a night - great value for... more

As the previous writer stated, I stayed at this hotel because of it's location and the price which was reduced because we were in a party. £49 a room without breakfast. Add £11.75 for breakfast per person. Don't get me wrong this hotels is not just for groups but there were quite a few staying here. I would stay here... more

Stayed here for my mates stag do in March 2009. The hotel was in the most perfect location for Nottinghams Nightlife. The town centre was literally a 2 minutes walk around the corner. The car park is next door to the hotel. Yes, there is a club called ROCK CITY round the back but this did not affect us, we... more

This hotel couldn't be better located if you're planning a trip to central Nottingham. We were seeing a gig at the Rescue Rooms and the hotel is literally a two minute walk away. It's an adequate hotel but nothing special. The room we had was perfectly ok but pretty uninspiring. It was described as 'superior' by the hotel - although... more

First room which I got was just a few meters from the reception and fire exit, it so noisy that after a 30 minutes I had to change my room. Second one was ok I but still I had view directly to the wall, but still I have objections to equipment and to the bathroom. All was very old not... more

As other reviews rightly state, this place backs onto/overlooks Rock City and therefore there may be some late evening noise although I wasn't affected by this. It is certainly very central and all the eateries and other attractions of the city centre are within a max 10 minute walk. The reception staff are friendly enough although the breakfast staff on... more
