We stayed here for 3 nights as were going to a gig at Rock City, which is a stone's throw away from the hotel front. Having said that, I didn't have any trouble with loud noise throughout our stay. This hotel is cheap and as such I wasn't expecting a lot. The hotel is slightly dated, but it's not run... More

After reading a few other mixed reviews I decided to take my chances when I needed an inexpensive place to stay for a midweek night in Nottingham. I was pleasantly surprised throughout my stay. For £44 I had a large, well furnished, sunlit room and breakfast. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly and hopeful and I was even... More

It's so sad to see a place that once had real flash, go down the drain. What used to be a 4 star rated hotel is now little more than a youth hostel. I had to move my room because the window in the first room I was given was broken and covered with brown plastic tape. I found similar,... More

Stayed here with my wife for a night out in Nottingham with friends. First impressions were good. close to the city centre and was clean and tidy. Good night out and got back into a big comfy bed. We were awoken by the fire alarm at 07:30, which wasn't good but probably an accident. Then the disappointment. Looking forward to... More

Uphill walk from train station. There are closer hotels that I walked past. Room ok but cleanliness could be better. Crumbs on plate under new pack of biscuits, hair on tiles on wall next to shower, tiles were grubby next to shower screen, net curtains could do with a wash. The hairdryer isn't very powerful so take your own if... More

A great hotel with great customer service. Stayed here last year on a last minute decision, the reception kindly price matched our quote from a third party booking agency. Parking was good and safe locked away and can have access to the car park whenever you need it. Rooms are immaculate, tidy and clean. The decor is a little dated... More

Hotel in the centre of Nottingham so very close to theatres etc. Hotel staff were very nice . Bedroom was very clean . Furniture a little dated but hey ho who goes to a hotel looking at the furniture. Breakfast was excellent and probably far too much.
