Stayed for a few days in a single room. Beware, the single rooms are very small. Barely enough room to change one's mind. On the plus side, the hotel is situated on a quiet street so one is free of the very loud nightlife that tends to plague most Nottingham hotels. The hotel overall is quite charming, but it could... A great boutique hotel which has some fantastic rooms but one or two which leave a lot to be desired. Have stayed several times at this hotel but last time was given a small double room where the blind didn't fit the window, the floorboards immediately outside the room were squeaky and the desk was crammed into the space outside... Stayed here for a night so we could go out with friends in Nottingham. We arrived and the welcome from the chap on reception was friendly and efficient: things are looking up, we thought. The hotel is ideally located next to the picturesque church and some of the classier bars in Nottingham, hence the reason for our choice of hotel.... More

From the outside the hotel looked great, and the reception areas give a feel of a boutique hotel, although they need to deliver on their promises elsewhere. Overall Positives - Comfy large bed - Excellent breakfast - Complimentary access to gym (although long way away) But lots of negatives: - WiFi didn't work (claimed it was only not working for... I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and the experience was fine. The hotel decor in my room was a bit too red for my taste, but everything was clean and nice. TV set working properly, good WiFi connection, coffee and tea in the room ok. Fridge full of things to purchase at reasonable prices. Staff very... More

I have stayed here three times now. On the first two occasions we had a deluxe king room and we were happy. This last time we had a std double but was still £109. Big mistake! The first room was tiny (smaller than Travelodge/Premier Inn) and was looking over the air conditioning system - horrible. The bed was the worst... More

I have stayed here probably 20 times and always love it . Every little detail is not perfect but it has such charm and is a beautiful hotel . All rooms are different so it can be pot luck as to the rooms . Would always recommend it though as put stays are always great and it's a great location... More

This hotel is hidden in the heart of Nottingham conveniently located close to shopping and restaurant district. If you drove, remember to valet your car and not park in the sketchy parking lot across from the police station. As you enter the hotel, you will notice the trendy bar on the right and the welcoming reception on your left. The... More

Great location, and the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The public rooms were beautifully decorated and a pleasure to be in, and breakfast was delicious. Pastries and full English real highlights. It was just a shame, given the proposed standard and quality of the hotel, that little things were lacking which, given the price, let the hotel... More
