Staff were polite and helpful. Was a cheap option for a one night stay. Close to all nightlife and the arena. Hotel was aged but bed linen and towels were spotless. Just around corner from castle and up the road from The Old Salutation Inn. Would use again! 😀

1) The reception was very average looking and the elevator was looking run down (the one that was working). Already I'm having my doubts. 2) The room was unbelievably shanty, especially when considering how good the rooms seemed to look in the pictures. Cracks and stains on the wall. Cramped is an understatement to describe the room. Having two people... More

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling up the country to visit friends and relatives. The hotel entrance is tucked around the corner and this made it slightly difficult to find having parked in the mount street car park on the far side. The welcome was efficient, not overly friendly or rude. We got our key and called the... More

The hotel was booked using Hotels.com this is a timeline of events. Sat 24.01 - call the ensure I get an early check in, told to pay a further £10 and this would be sorted out Mon 26.01 - Arrive at the hotel, the receptionist wasn't very approachable but I brushed this aside. I advised we had an early check... More

We stayed for a night while attending a dinner party in central Nottingham. I agree with some of the other comments that the hotel was not plush. However it suited our needs, was priced reasonably and is well located for the centre of Nottingham. Handy safe car park and good breakfast. I would be happy to stay here again. Our... More

Myself and my partner stayed here on January 24th 2015 and were very disappointed with the room , the decor is tired and dated and there was an unpleasant musty smell in the room, the most annoying thing , however was that shower didn't work at all snd i had to use the tiny bath, i reported this and was... We stayed at this hotel for one night and yes it's very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment but for the money I paid 39.00 for a twin room it was ok. Hotel was centrally located close to restaurants and shops but with this does come the noise which we could hear all night. Staff are extremely helpful, polite... More

We stayed here for one night in January. We used the hotel just as a base toget changed as we were on an all day session. We booked s standard room however when checking in, we were told that we had been upgraded to an executive room which was great. The rooms are very basic - If our room was... More

This hotel has a great location for the city centre and great views over the city from our room (401). The St James St carpark is attached to the hotel by a canopy which is actually the lounge/bar above so unloading in the snow from the pull-in outside reception was great. The car park charges £15.00 for 24 hours which... More

This Hotel really needs some money spending on it. It's such a Shane as it could be a very good Hotel otherwise. The location for Nottingham centre is very good, and if you have a room with a high floor there is some great views of the city centre. Other than that all is very poor and very basic!
