This hotel needs a good clean as it is disgustingly dirty, I don't mind if places are old or basic if they are at least clean, but this hotel was all of these together, the pictures on the web site are not a true reflection. Will never ever stay in this hotel again and recommend others to consider an alternative

Had a 3 nights stay at this hotel via National Holidays very good value, we booked a twin room with walk in shower. They allocated a double room which was very spacious but they put down a fold up camp bed type to classify it as twin, poor matress which you could feel the latts through.(no sleep that night) next... Stayed for one night only (Saturday) on a stag weekend, so not much time spent in room! However rooms were clean and adequate, staff were helpful and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The hotel is in a pretty good position, near to castle, only five mins walk from central Notts and sited between two NCP car parks, (voucher available for... More

We parked our car and walked through our hotel before we could check in and I have to say I was a little worried. The decor was a little dated and place felt a little scruffy. However when we got to our room it was a little treat. We had booked a double and when we got to our room... More

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. It is in need of a refurb but the location in proximity to the city centre is ideal and the price reasonable. On this occasion we checked in late and spent a very short time in the room before going out. We noticed a smell in the room when we arrived but... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a National Holidays half board holiday. I have to say the hotel is quite tired looking and dated, however, it was very good value for money. Rooms - clean and exceptionally tidy; comfortable; tea and coffee making facilities; bathroom clean with toiletries supplied. No view worth talking about but this is a city-centre... More

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Supposedly booked into a superior room but was far from it. The bathroom was mouldy and the water didnt drain while having a shower so bath half full by the end, i give one point for the promptness of getting us a different room, although just as bad.... We booked an offer from Travel Zoo to stay at Nottingham recently as we wanted to see something of the area. The hotel was very well situated in the centre plenty to see nearby. The room we had was very big, on the 9th floor, with lovely views of the Castle and City. It was clean and very comfortable. Our... More

Stayed at this hotel for three nights on a National Holidays trip. It is well-situated, with the castle being almost next door and two minutes walk to the town centre shops etc. The room was very welcoming and presented, though a little dated, but it had everything I needed and was exceptionally clean, as was the ensuite bathroom. We were... More

Booked this hotel as it popped up while I was booking a train on the train line website. Location was good for city centre but the room was awful. Extremely basic, the furniture was broken, the mirror on the wall was broken and had sharp glass edges. Bedding was clean but the actual bed had holes in it. The air... More
