Room was functional, a bit dated and not of bright decor but was fit for purpose. Location is good for accessing the City Centre. Ate breakfast and it was average for a UK hotel with the normal selection of hot and... more

I stayed in this hotel quite a few times because I had to find somewhere cheap to stay for a few days before moving in/out of the university halls. I mainly chose the hotel because of the location, price and because of free wireless internet in the room. The location was great, 5mins away from Broadmarsh shopping center, 10mins walk... more

When we arrived we had seen all the photos on the web which makes this hotel look stunning, please do... more

The hotel room was discusting and dirty, mould in the showers stains all over the walls, we upgraded to a superior room which was even worse, the lifts and landing carpets were a disgrace, we had to wipe our feet when we left the hotel, we checked out and stayed at the "The Park Inn" on Mansfeild road , 100%... more

The Britannia is a dated hotel in the very centre of Nottingham. It is in serious need of modernisation, but the standards were considerably higher than I had expected in light of previous reviews. I stayed on the fifth floor, enjoying views over Nottingham, as well as the adjacent office block, complete with manager engaging in a late night 'business... more

We booked this hotel before we read the reviews, and we nearly cancelled,so glad we didnt. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel room we had on the 6th floor was fine, good selection of food in the restaurant,we could not fault it,would recommend it and will stay their again more
