The Britannia is a dated hotel in the very centre of Nottingham. It is in serious need of modernisation, but the standards were considerably higher than I had expected in light of previous reviews. We booked this hotel before we read the reviews,and we nearly cancelled,so glad we didnt. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel room we had on the 6th floor was fine,good selection of food in the restaurant,we could not fault it,would recommend it and will stay their again more
