Stayed at the Mercure for a weeks training conference with work and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room was absolutely gorgeous - think I lucked out by getting the top floor loft room as seemed to be a lot bigger than the others (only judging this from speaking to the other people who were staying). I had a mini fridge... More

This Hotel has no parking, so use the Lace Market Multi Storey and when it comes to checking out, give Reception your ticket and they will reduce the cost. We stayed from 3pm until 10 am the following day for £10 which, for City Centre parking, is excellent. Loved this quaint Hotel - the Reception Staff were excellent and nothing... More

Very comfortable stay with very welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very clean and was spacious enough. The hotel has kept many original features from days gone by which added a nice character to the place. The price of the room was competitive for the area but comparatively slightly expensive compared to other cities. We did not have breakfast... More

Stayed her for business in feb. Hotel has a great central location but is a bit of a nightmare to find by car if you're not a local. However, obviously no fault of the hotel's. Room was big and spacious with comfortable bed with tea and coffee making with shortbread and ginger biscuits provided. Safe and iron included. My room... More

The main reception area of the hotel is lovely with a big staircase in the middle. Upon checking in, we were told that our room had been upgraded to a privilege room, which was a nice surprise. The room was very nice and a good size- it seemed a bit of a waste as we were not spending much time... More

I visit this hotel once a week as I spend time in Nottingham on business. Mercure was not my first choice as I have loyalty cards for other major hotels but having tried there Nottingham offerings I was left massively disappointed. I tried the Mercure on recommendation and I haven't stayed anywhere else since. (yes I have joined their loyalty... More

Stayed for 4 nights for work training, and stayed overnight 4 nights. Hotel very clean and room pleasant- little cold at night as the hearing is from an air con unit. Breakfast plenty selection and lunches were ok. Staff very helpful and even a gym to use. Good location in centre of town, can be a bit noisy but that's... More

Stayed at this hotel on the 29th and 30th of January with my wife for our anniversary, we parked at the nearby lace market car park as you get a reduced rate by staying at the hotel. First impression of the hotel is good from the outside bright and clean and check in was smooth and quick. We booked a... More

Pleased with my choice of this hotel. Everywhere was pleasant, smart and clean. Great location for the gig at the Arena I attended. Room was great - everything you needed, comfy bed and good pillows, tea, coffee and biscuits neatly hidden in wardrobe, bottled water, big TV and a clean modern bathroom with a good shower. Nice size bath sheet!... More

My partner and I stayed at the Mercure on the 23th of January for a little getaway break as we were watching a comedy show at Jongleurs that night. The hotel was very welcoming, smart and clean. The room was well presented and had a lovely big bed. We stayed in room 204 and although not the biggest of rooms... More
