We have used this hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The location is very good. Just in the lace market. Car parking is just around the corner and the hotel will give you a discounted ticket, so make sure you mention this when checking out. Our room overlooked the main street outside. This was a little noisy... More

My stay in the Mercure Nottingham was by far my worst experience in a hotel that i have experienced for a long time. I booked a suite for the only reason that it had a Kingsize bed and I wanted a good nights sleep because I had a very important business presentation the next day. When I went to bed... More

Great room, very clean, centrally located, decent breakfast. Lots of complementary extras which included free soft drinks in the mini bar, toiletries, use of coffee maker, dressing gowns & slippers. Thank you Alex (bar-man) for getting in our car & directing us to the car-park, otherwise we were ready to give up & go home. Getting through Nottingham one-way system... More

This hotel is in a great location for shopping, sight seeing and a night out. Rooms are as to be expected - typical Mercure, we had a superior as I read that other rooms are small. Couldn't really fault this hotel. Didnt have food here as there are so many places on its doorstep.

It is a nice and cozy hotel. It is just right at city centre, very convenient to walk around Lace Market, Market Square and shops. The breakfast provided are variety. I like the different types of cold cuts and assorted favor of yogurt. There is a mini gym at the ground floor. Opposite the hotel has a bus stop, very... More

Having previously lived in Nottingham I was well aware of this hotels central location so I would suggest if you don't want to be in the center of Nottingham then you probably shouldn't stay here. They have a map on the website. We stayed in the slightly bigger room which was £10 more a night although there is currently a summer... More

The hotel itself is fine. Clean, room, basic but nice enough. Staff are adequate but not friendly (a smile costs nothing). Lovely location by day, pretty narrow streets with lots of independent boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. At night it's a nightmare. Those narrow streets send the noise of fifty thousand rowdy stag and hen do's skywards (not to mention... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for finding the time to write your review. We advertise upon all of our websites that we are located right in the heart and soul of Nottingham. The amenities within the City centre include restaurants, bars and nightclubs, therefore some external noise can be experienced. We have however taken every precaution possible to limit the noise... As it was the week of graduation the prices of hotels were high, Hotel Mercure was no exception, we were charged £80 for one night (breakfast NOT included), our room was very small. It was very noisy and there was a large gap underneath the door so the hallway light was shining through which wasn't great as the bed was... More
