Me and my husband stayed here for one night. Excellent value at £57.00 pounds for one night, £12.00 cheaper than the Premier Inn that is next door. Check in easy and reception staff very friendly. The bedroom was perfect very clean. I'm very picky about my bedding but this was the best lovely white sheets and a choice of pillows... More

It has been many years since I last stayed in a holiday inn, but after trying several upmarket hotels on our previous visits to Nottingham and being very disappointed we thought we would give it a whirl. What a pleasant surprise it was! We booked one of their executive rooms at a rate of £100 per night. The room was... More

I am disabled and my wife was going to book us into a Premier Inn. However they couldn't reserve a specific accessible room with walk-in shower so we would have to take whichever accessible room was available on arrival. She then looked at this Holiday Inn as we have stayed here in the past (pre Tripadvisor membership) and made the... More

Can't fault this place. Tracey booking us in made us feel very welcome, Never ate in the restaurant however the bar service was very friendly. We had a twin room very clean. We were off to watch Reading play Nottingham just a short walk along the canal and through town All the staff were friendly and helpful and we would... More

We had a family room, booked last minute - so we paid a cheaper price (£57 for a family room with two double beds) I have read some of the "poor / average" reviews, and have to say that this place must have been redecorated since those reviews were written, as our room was clean and tidy, as was the... Dear kimives, Thank you for your very informative review. We are currently in the final stage of our refurbishment program for 2014. Have just spent a night here with my husband and children aged 11 and 7. The room had the same set up as other holiday inns that we have stayed in with a double bed, sofa bed and TV and bathroom. Our room was very modern and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. When we arrived the children were... More

Dear Kat030, What a fantastic review! I’m really happy your children enjoyed the sweets we left for them, this is something we’ve recently introduced and we’re receiving fabulous feedback. We’ve really focused on our food offering over the past few months with the introduction of our new tapas menu and daily homemade specials and I’m thrilled to receive such complimentary... More

I know this hotel hits the lower price range but I just can't come at a squeeze bottle of liquid soap fixed to the shower wall. That's a step up from the 'we don't trust you' clothes hangers (nail top rather than a hook). We don't want you to take the tiny soap other hotels provide so we're going to... More

Can't fault this place. Never ate in the restaurant however the bar service was very friendly. We had a twin room, which to my surprise was 2 double beds! Both very comfortable. Plenty to do locally as well, all just a short walk along the canal.

Great location next to shops and restaurants. We stayed for the forest home game and walked to the ground which took us 30 minutes with pubs on the way. Clean rooms, good service and good bar.. Great all round

To be honest there's very little that sets this hotel aside from a premier inn or travelodge. Food wise (dinner and breakfast) are pretty normal although your selection for dinner is limited. One feature I do like about this place is it's close to the canal which is a great way to walk into town. On the downside it's a... More

Dear Bansheeragger, Thank you for your review following your recent visit.
