A few days before travelling to Nottingham I read online that the Chrysler Corporation's headquarters in Michigan had been secretly designed in such a way that if they ever became redundant or surplus to requirements, the entire complex could be converted into a shopping mall. The Nottingham Holiday Inn has possibly been designed with the same flexibility in mind, being... more

This hotel was disappointing. The front entrance is quite impressive, and staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel is on a business trading estate. The hotel is not on the canal but it is nearby. There are plenty of other eateries nearby, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, A Grill bar, and a Beefeater. With this in mind... more

A pretty standard Holiday Inn on the edge of town with good rooms and service. Plenty of car parking which can be difficult to find in Nottingham. You can take a 15 minute walk into the centre along the canal if you wish. more

A one night (Saturday) stay in April. Hotel was typical Holiday Inn - nothing exceptional and nothing much to give cause for complaint. The hotel is about a mile from the city centre attractions - a pleasant walk alongside the canal on a sunny day. Check in and out were speedy and accurate, the room was OK, but plastic glasses... more

My husband and I went up to Nottingham for a football match and decided to stay the night rather than rushing back home. The room with breakfast cost £67. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was self service with loads of choice and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. I had phoned to say we were going... more

We were visiting a friend who lives in Nottingham and he suggested this place as he'd stayed there. it was a nice hotel, our first experience with a Holiday Inn and found it very nice. The breakfast was fantastic. We ordered from the pillow menu and they were brought up while we were away along with some extra towels. The... more

We stayed in a double room in the Holiday Inn on 13th November 08 and we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute drive away from the city centre and was easy to find. There is free parking at this hotel which is a bonus as a lot of hotels seem to charge for... more

Paid £68 for 2 people for B&B for a Saturday night and booked direct through the main HI website. All in all a positive stay, many of the positives have already been mentioned in previous reviews. The hotel is well located, a short walk away from the centre of Nottingham. It is clean and the rooms are in quite good... more

Most of the reviews here sum the hotel up. I stayed here for work for a fortnight. It has no character really, but does the job of a business hotel really quite well. Food is good, service is friendly, not too expensive. I have stayed in so much worse. One gripe, and it applies to many of the chain hotels... more
