As a Bed and Breakfast, this great late Victorian property (built in 1903) with its high ceilings add to the feeling of space and freedom, along with stylishly designed rooms with attractive, welcoming layouts, is a home from home. We make it our job to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Visit us once, and you will want to visit us again and again
The hosts are so lovely and welcoming and their fried breakfast is absolutely lovely. I slept so well because the beds are super comfy and the rooms beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are very clean and the extras such as shower gel and teas and coffees in the room were very generous. We are a family party ranging from 15 to 81 and it suited all of us.

Quiet stay, excellent breakfast. Large comfortable bathroom. Stayed in the room upstairs at the rear…bobbinet or similar mane. Good facilities, warm and quiet…away from the passing main road to the front. Public areas high standard, incl a piano in the breakfast room. Breakfast was lovingly prepared with quality sausage and bacon. Would stay here again. Parking is in the side public street .

Was bitterly disappointed with this stay. The photographs really are very deceiving. We were met by a very grumpy lady who wasn’t impressed I hadn’t received the text she had sent me (A bit of humour, compassion and welcoming wouldn’t have gone amiss) nor that we had managed to get in the front door which had been left open, not by us. Then she showed us to our room which is probably the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in in my life. There wasn’t room to swing a kitten let alone a cat. The door into the bathroom was so small it folded in half and you still had to go sideways to get into it The bed was small and our first thought was why on earth had we not gone to the Premier Inn which would’ve been twice the size and half the price. This really was not worth £128 a night. I thought I was spending out for a bit of luxury and ended up in a shoebox. We left after one night. We were too claustrophobic & sleep deprived to stay for two.…

What a find, this gem of a B and B is amazing, beautiful rooms with one of the comfiest beds I have slept in, every where is so clean. Our room was so cosy, split into 4 separate areas, hallway, dressing/wardrobe area, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was so tasty and beautifully presented, and served by the most friendly, happy lady you could hope to meet, she made sure everyone had everything they wanted, checking with all tables each time she came in, Jessica is the chef and the quality of the food was excellent, we met Jessica as we were leaving and she was extremely pleasant thanking us for staying and wishing us a safe journey home, we will definitely stay again and recommend this B and B to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxed time away.

The staff were very rude and I feel as if they had something against us because we were young, they would not allow us to stay the full night they even got police involved to remove us from the house instead of asking us herself she hid downstairs. Once they kicked us out I then got a further charge on my card for £345 which is ridiculous considering we paid £144 for the room and we were in there for about 5 hours at the most before kicking us out onto the streets for the night. Never come and stay here they will charge you extra charges, not answer the phone and also discriminate in any way they can. This is a business which so clearly steals from many and deserves shut down

We stayed at this lovely cosy B&B for one night. we couldn't fault it one bit. It beautiful the bed was the most comfortable bed ever, The shower was brilliant, and we found the B&B very clean. There is no check-in desk but entry was very simple and easy. It very quiet its like home from home. iv given this B&B a 4* just because we didn't have breakfast (because I was poorly) but I will say it smelt beautiful we will deffo stay from breakfast next time we visit 😉

The most horrifying hotel experience in my life. The woman called Jessica was extremely rude and cold . She lied about parking, it's very difficult to park on the sideroad with very limited space. Breakfast was 15minuted late even we gave the time. Cereals were old nearly run out but she refused to refill with fresh ones. I got shouted for my 'attitude' by this rude woman, because of me asking for fresh cereals for my 13 years daughter, so at the end we lost appetite and no time to eat since my daughter needed to go to school, the woman again shouted in a controlled but hateful voice 'give me the key! Out you go!!' My daughter cried all the way to school. Now thinking back, I can imagine that woman could have done something horrible to me anf my daughter, as she did not look or act normal. She needs to have a mental health check. For anyone who is looking to or planning to stay in this hotel, please be alerted that you might be the next victim of this crazy woman Jessica, who would ruin your good memories of staying in a hotel where you should be relaxing and enjoying.…

This is a fantastic little B&B which delighted me with a quaint bedroom, clean facilities and an outstanding breakfast. Communication came via the form of a text message which left very clear instructions on how to self check in. For anyone who is a seasoned traveler, it was pretty simple. I did have trouble finding it in the dark but a simple phone call to Jessica who sent me the text resolved this fairly quickly. Whilst this property isn’t in the centre of town, it’s less than £10 in a taxi, even after midnight, and is great value. I would definitely recommend this place and found the experience very positive.

We have just returned from our second stay at Sunny Mount B&B. With family in Nottingham close by, it’s a great place to stay whilst visiting. The place is clean, friendly, and uniquely decorated, and it doesn’t break the bank! The cooked breakfast is warm and tasty, with plenty of choices!
