Spent 3 nights here with good local hospitality and humour in front of the bar....food was good too!!! One down side is that even with a Sat nav its very hard to find but when your there ample parking awaits..

Stopped over after a day in the city, great find and freindly, food was good home cooked and pub was busy, bed was comfy and if you are looking for oldy woldy and beams etc this is the place. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Stayed one Thursday night on our way to Silverstone. It has a large car park at back and is near the village centre. Lovely cosy bar, good beer, large clean modern room and bathroom and a great English breakfast. What more could you ask for? Would stay again. Thanks

We stayed for one night in May when visiting Nottingham for the cricket. Very friendly place, yummy tea in the bar, stunning bedroom (No. 5), fabulous breakfast, excellent value, what more can I say. Can't wait to get the chance to stay again.
