This Bed and Breakfast is located a bit out of town, but if one is travelling by car it is easily reached. The house and room are clean and looked after. Only the shared bathrooms need refurbishment. We were in the lucky situation to be given a three beded room as a double room and had our private bathroom, which... More

This is a nice B&B owned by a lovely couple who make your stay very comfortable indeed. A very friendly/homely atmosphere. Surprisingly unfriendly owner who didn't seem to be happy about visitors, gave me totally wrong directions and generally seemed annoyed by my presence. The rooms are ok and clean, bathrooms are cleaned regularly but the showers are very moldy. Interesting: the bathrooms don't have any sinks (but the rooms do). Tea and coffee making facility, beds are good. On the... More

I stayed just one night here after taking my son back to Uni but will definitely stay here again. There are no airs and graces but the place is spotlessly clean and the couple that run it are friendly without being over-intrusive and tipped us off to an excellent place to eat (the Victoria Hotel, a few minutes' walk away)....
