We had a fantastic two night stay at the Grange - Brenda gave us a very warm welcome, despite our late arrival on Friday night (thanks to the bank holiday exodus out of London!) - we stayed in the Hay Loft, which is up its own spiral staircase (probably not ideal for those with limited mobility). The pictures on the... More

We planned one night at The Grange and chose it because of its rating on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! Outstanding attention to detail. A old house with charming idiosyncrasies, which is so much better than staying at an anonymous hotel chain. The Grange will be our place of choice if we're in the area again.

We only stayed at The Grange for two nights but could have stayed for more. The twin room was perfect for me and my sister. Brenda and Don foresaw everything travelers would need from plush towels and bathrobes, tea tray stocked with biscuits and chocolates, and bandaids, paper and pens at the desk. Breakfast, served in a light and bright... More

What a wonderful surprise to find this 5 star bed and breakfast in such a beautiful setting just off the A52. You drive through the gate across the graveled drive and the house just takes your breath away! Loved the stone lions guarding the entrance! Brenda was a lovely hostess - and the room had everything a guest could wish... More

I can only reiterate when everyone else has said about this fabulous b and b. Fantastic welcome. Beautiful room with everything you could possibly need. Lovely welcome tray of every type of drink, muffins, biscuits, chocs. The breakfast was second to none made from local produce. Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights arriving the night before a wedding on the 20th June. The room was excellent with everything you could need. Tea, coffee, bottles of water and little snacks. White bath robes and slippers etc. Brenda and Don were perfect hosts and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a selection of cereals and fresh fruit... More

My daughter and I booked for one night last week, from the moment we booked to leaving we were treated to a first class service, my daughter has a very restricted diet which was catered for beautifully, nothing was to much trouble, This is a gem and should be used as a model for all bed and breakfasts, thank you... I stayed here for one night while on a cycle tour, after it was recommended to me by another B&B owner who was full for the night. I'm so glad I ended up here. Brenda was very welcoming, right from the moment I first phoned up. My room was very roomy and equipped with everything I could imaginably need -... More

This really is wonderful place to stay, set in delightful surroundings. Brenda and Don's hospitality is second to none. I stayed in a super clean and luxurious room with a lovely tea tray packed with goodies and a private bathroom with a shower, plenty of pristine towels, toiletries and even a white bath robe Everything you could possibly need and... We stayed for one night last weekend after attending a party, about 8 miles away. How fortunate that the closer establishments were booked up, or we didn't fancy them. We had no hesitation choosing this one after reading the reviews (38 excellent, one very good, out of 39 reviews), and the place lived up to all the comments and ratings.... More
