I had a lovely one night stay at Thorpe House B&B whilst attending a seminar. So much nicer than staying at a budget motel. All the personal touches make it special. I enjoyed full English breakfast brought to the room on a tray with beautiful china. If I come back to Nottingham, I will definitely try to book again. Thank... More

This was a beautiful country home, in a lovely old part of Nottingham. As we were experiencing our Ancestors, by Walking in Their Footsteps, this was the sort of home that some had owned. Our room at the front, was huge, with so much space. The breakfast was delivered to our room, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We also run... More

A lovely b&b , with such a friendly atmosphere. Quiet Location but so convenient as it's close to the city centre . The rooms are great and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Due to working all over the country I'm a regular at B'nB's and can genuinely say this was the nicest I've stayed in yet. Sally is so welcoming and eager to help and my room was beautifully decorated and very homely. Little touches like fresh bicuits every evening and even a change in the arrangement of the decorative pillows on... More

We stayed here while house hunting in the area and were very pleased with the quality of the Emerson suite, which we occupied for 4 nights. The bed is huge, being two zip-linked singles. The bedding and decor are delightful and extremely high quality. The breakfasts are served in the rooms - guests fill in their choices the night before... More

Discovered this little gem during university open days. Have returned to stay when dealing with transporting my daughter to and from university. It is very welcoming, clean and very quiet. Ideal place to stay if you want peaceful night sleep. Breakfast in your room is a great way to start the day. It will become our regular B&B whilst daughter... More

I come to this bed and breakfast quite often and I have to say that it is an excellent place to stay if you go to Nottingham. The location is very good (not in the centre but not too far from the centre), the rooms are quiet, the beds are extremely confortable, the place warm, the breakfast excellent, lots of... More

Had a great time staying in this lovely accommodation . Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Rooms are so spacious, clean and presented really well. I would recommend this lovely place to all my friends and family. Close to the City and the breakfast was one of the best I ever had.

Another extremely good visit to Thorpe House. Very quiet and comfortable with a lovely breakfast, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The welcome is warm and friendly and Sally is most helpful. Thorpe House is located on a peaceful tree lined road, away from noisy traffic but within walking distance of restaurants. We stayed at Thorpe House for two consecutive weekends, and had a thoroughly wonderful time. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable, the breakfasts were to die for (particularly the coffee), and there were many restaurants within an easy walk (either direction). Will definitely return (and try out the Beauty Salon) - so watch out Sally and Ian!
