I was traveling in the Uk in October of 2009 and i hadnt planned on visiting Nottingham.But someone recomended this hostel to me because i had told them that i really hadn't met many British people on my trip , since the hostels were full of foriegn tourists like myself or [even more common] were full of school kids..And that... more
Finding a fault with the Igloo hostel would be very hard to do, everything is well maintained, well run and super friendly, turning up late at night after a long journey I was greeted with a smile and good grace. Aside from the minor petty things that can happen when you put 40 people in one building nothing was amiss... more
The Igloo Backpackers hostel is quite simply - Awesome! This is my third visit to Igloo Hostel and its been the best yet. The atmosphere here is very positive and sociable and you can be sure to make friends here quickly and feel welcome. The other guests that stay here are happy to recommend places to go that they've experienced... more
My partner and I stumbled across the Igloo Hostel and ended up staying 3 days longer than we'd planned the first time we were there. We loved it so much there, we went back for another 4 nights before we flew out of the UK, 3 months later! B, Dee, and Sarah are the friendliest, most interesting and engaging staff/owner... more
Great staff, tip top clean, no hastle or hard rules and in a prime location. Was made to feel very welcome. If Calsberg did hostels :) more
This hostel is very nice, great staff that are always ready to help, they gave me lots of tips on where to go in Nottingham and what to do. The rooms are nice and clean, as are all the common areas. I would suggest this hostel to anyone visiting Nottingham. more
