Just back from lovely long weekend with our family, three couples, stayed at the Chapel. I had requested an early arrival as I wanted to set up a surprise birthday tea for one of our party and when we arrived the owner had already arranged a birthday cake, bottle of bubbly, balloons and banners! What a treat! Hot tub (robes,... More

A group of 8 of us stayed in one of the cottages over a long weekend. The house was beautiful and kitchen fully kitted out, great location and felt cosy despite the weather. It was the small things however which put a bit of a dent in things :( ...we were allocated 4 parking spaces for the duration of the... More

Stayed here as a group of 8 girls for a 30th birthday. Our cottage - the Defferers - was much cosier than in the pics on the website, but sadly there were too many negatives to score higher than average. We were allocated 4 parking spaces and even though we arranged to car share with just 3 cars we struggled... More

Just got home from a fab girly weekend at The Chapel. The setting is beautiful with the hot tub on the patio overlooking fields and trees. The property is nice inside and very comfortable and the onsite pool with the option of spa treatments is a nice bonus. My hot stone massage was amazing and I would definitely go here... More

There was a group of 10 of us staying in Deferrers allthough only five stayed the whole booked period. The kitchen seemed well equipped. As others mentioned it is heavy on rules. The cottage is quirky but anything longer than a weekend and the weak led lights would get annoying, rooms quite small with little storage space, bathrooms without Windows... More

I celebrated my sixtieth this year, as my surname is Henery, I thought it would be fitting for me to stay at Henry's Haunt. The description is that it is situated on one level. There was a lovely gesture on arrival of a bottle of prosecco and a birthday cake, however to get to the private patio and hot tub... More

I stayed here recently with my Hen Party in the De Ferrers cottage. I loved it here! Yes the rooms had a bizarre theme, which I would change but each to their own! It was a lovely cottage, beautiful kitchen which had everything we needed in it, lovely cosy lounge and enough seating. The hot tub was lovely and private... More

I have not written a review before but felt compelled to do because of the poor standard of this holiday accommodation. The countryside around Harthill Hall is stunning and the views from the accommodation, Priesthill, were lovely but that's where the positives end. The accommodation was small and dark and was made worse by the limited lighting and very dim... More

We stayed in Harthill Hall Cottages - the Deferrers and it was lovely. We were 3 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs and without exception, had a wonderful time. The children loved the themed bedrooms and found plenty to do in the evenings so although there were televisions provided, we didn't need them. The kitchen was well kitted out and... More

Just returned from a weekend away at the barn to celebrate my husbands 40th, 12 adults stayed. 6 ensuite double beedrooms gave each couple some personal space. Lovely set up and great lounge area to get together. The kitchen has all amenities but is a little on the small side, as is the dining table, it does seat 12 but... More
