First of all, I should point out that this is a guest house, not a hotel. If you want uniformed staff, this is definitely the wrong place for you. Margaret and Bob have the most fabulous guesthouse. It is luxury accommodation with plush beds, leather chairs, and top class bathrooms. Hallbank House is a lovely period house next to the Old Gaol in Hexham. We recieved a very warm welcome from Margaret the owner and our room was beautiful. The house is spotlessly clean and gorgeous!
