We stayed three nights in the 3 bedroom self catering cottage for a long weekend. We had both sets of grandparents with us as well as our farm-loving three and a half year old. Each room had an ensuite bathroom, and ours had a kingsize bed plus a single bed. We were very comfortable and had fantastic views out of... More

Booked a family room and stayed for 1 night after visiting Hadrian's Wall and on our way up to Scotland. Our hostess was kind and welcoming and left us to explore, after giving us directions to the nearest pub on foot! We had a double, a single and a trundle, all with very comfy mattresses and very good quality bed... More

We've just got back from a 3 night stay in the 3 bed self catering cottage and had a great time. All the rooms were ensuite which was perfect for us (young family and both sets of grandparents) and there was plenty of room for us all. Our 17 month old daughter loved seeing all the animals and was in... More

My family and I stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage at the beginning of the month and we could not have had a better time. The next time that we are in the North East, we will certainly try to stay there again. There was plenty of room in all of the bedrooms and the kitchen/lounge was spacious as well.

We booked into here for one night bed and breakfast as we were going to the races at Hexham. Despite it being June we arrived on a very cold Saturday. Our hostess was very pleasant and showed us to our room. We had been allocated a family room which was very pretty. The facilities were clean and tidy and had... More

We stayed at Rye Hill Farm from Thursday 28th- Saturday 30th May. It was a lovely base for walking and seeing the surrounding area. The room was cosy and spotless with everything you needed. The WIFi was easy to connect to with good signal. The breakfast was yummy with homemade jams and freshly made bread. Would stauy again

The need to be near Hexham while an Aunt is in hospital meant that my wife and I (and our dog) needed B&B accommodation, and based on previous reports on Trip Advisor, we booked into Rye Hill Farm. What a find! The rooms are spotless, the bed is huge (I'm 6'6" tall so that's important), the breakfast is spot on... More
