Stayed there again last night after a day's salmon fishing on The River (North) tyne. Simple accommodastion; great staff and food was great. The Steak & Ale Pie is a 'must'. Rather picturesque from the outside but fairly traditional and tired décor inside. The welcome at the bar was friendly. The bedrooms were reasonable, if again, a bit tired and traditional.
