I am writing this review on my last night at our fabulous time share lodge. I had read a lot of negative reviews about Slaley Hall since Q Hotels had taken over from De Vere, but I have to say I needn't have worried. Our family stayed with us the weekend, our Daughters and Son in Laws the Hotel which they... We stayed in a 3 bed lodge for 3 nights / 4 days in February. The lodge was lovely, very well equipped however the heating was just not adequate and we spent most of the break frozen. Even slept with 2 duvets on the bed! The pool area was great, kids loved it. The use of the golf cart is... More

We recently stayed at a luxury lodge in the grounds of the Slaley hall complex, the accomadation is top class.. Golf is very good. The only downside to Slaley hall is the bar called the Claret Jug! This is the second time I have visited Slaley, and the first time was last September when I organised a party of 24... More

We enjoyed our break booked through secret escapes over Easter Sunday and Monday. On arrival we were met by a nice lady who was very helpful. We ended up in a twin room unfortunately but it was full so no choice of moving. Nice and clean and had a free bottle of red wine in the room ( thanks secret... More

The lodges are fantastic, spacious, excellent decor, and immaculately clean. A group of 7 of us arrived in a mini bus at the hotel reception with our luggage and from getting off mini bus the concierge and the hotel reception staff couldn't have been more helpful on arranging for our group and luggage to get to our lodge despite how... Slaley Hall is a country house golf resort in Northumberland in North East England, which was run by the De Vere Group, but is now run by QHotels. This review is mainly for Timeshare Villa 3, which is one of the 'luxury lodges' on Slaley Park. It sleeps eight people in two twin rooms, and two double rooms. Three of... More

We stayed in lodge 14 and we were really impressed at how well equipped they are. We found that there wasn't all that much to do as the weather was horrid and it snowed all week, we were travelling with a newborn and a toddler so were restricted anyway. But we made good use of the swimming/spa facilities, there is... More

Visiting the lodges is a treat for our family but the drink prices at the hall our ridiculous. £5.20 for a single vodka so in total a double vodka and coke costs nigh on £15. Which is an absolute joke considering you can get the same drink for half the price everywhere else even when it is the most expensive... More

These lodges look like a typical Scandinavian log cabin from the outside and are furnished / equipped to a very high standard. They have balconies on each level and in winter - this provides a great fridge for the "refreshments"!! Lots of space - we were there with friends / children 9 in total (1 very young child shared parents'... More

Very nice modern lodges, very well laid out with a very good kitchen and nice living room. The bedrooms have plenty of space and plenty of storage. The only down side is they have electric heating which can be a bit expensive in winter. The restaurant in the Hotel is very good and well worth a visit.
