For the price of a clean double room this hotel is just the job. Parking in a multi storey behind with door straight into the hotel makes it easy. It's only a short walk to Northampton Saint's ground and the breakfast was spot on.

I stayed at the ibis in May for business. The room was good, clean and the beds were very comfy. The only problem was the view out of the window wasn't very metally. Maybe not the best if you're trying to impress a woman. Also, I found the 5.50 charge for parking a bit cheeky.

I was not expecting much from this hotel as it was very cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were polite and helpful, the room was big and clean, the shower great and the bed comfortable. I would stay here again if I have to visit Northampton.

The entrance by car is into the bowels of the Car Park and down a ramp, through the buffet breakfast area and bar to the reception. I was woken up around 4 times throughout the night by people outside the room, so if you are looking to get some sleep I would reccomend staying elsewhere. Not the most attractive building but this hotel is perfectly adequate for business stays - friendly staff, comfortable bed, reasonable size double room, good breakfast, central location, free wi-fi, etc. My only complaint is about the continuous need to get my lift/door card re-programmed. My previous reviews of Ibis hotels have been critical of their breakfasts but on this stay I noticed an improvement. Booked this through Expedia and although still great value for money, didn't notice that you had to pay for parking and breakfast too. Staff were really nice and room was a good size. Breakfast was good value for money

Great location in town with easily available parking (about £10 for 24 hours), hotel and room clean and in good state of repair. Comfortable stay and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would definitely book again.
