My partner, my dad, brother and myself stopped here for one night last week. We had a family room and they shared a twin, both rooms were to a decent standard. The reviews here had us worried before arrival but to be honest they shouldn't have, the rooms were clean and tidy, ok dated and perhaps tired looking, but definatley... More

Lets face it you dont stop in a travelodge and expect 4 star luxury, however, you do expect a clean, comfortable and functional room. Well not at this Travelodge. I am even allowing for this Travelodge being based at services and only costing £38. Best if I use a list to illustrate. Dirty Bathroom (last occupant had left a present... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on business in the area. The hotel is attached to a Toby Carvery which having tried it serves very average food. The hotel is on the outskirts of town and is next to a very busy by-pass which is quite noisy during the night. The furniture is slightly better than your average travelodge and... More

Very friendly reception lady who was very helpful. Room had a strange smell and cold on arrival. Room very run down walls had marks on and sofa had a split and stains all over. The bed and chair was very uncomfortable. Toilet did not flush properly. I stayed 2 nights the room was cleaned yet the floor was not and... More

Arrived for two nights 15 and 16th February, reception was unmanned the entire time we were there. Fire alarm went off as soon as we got in the room, we evacuated but were never told what had happened just we could return to our rooms. The smell in the upstairs corridor is so bad I had to hold my breath... More

You get what you pay for and Travelodge does exactly what you expect. No frills but did the basics well. Older lady on reception was very helpful with extra items, irons etc.

This hotel is outdated, but the hotel staff's friendliness and helpfulness make up for the hotel's interiors. The rooms are spacious and clean. They are very basic but if all you require is a good nights sleep then the hotel does the job. I definitely will return and always worthwhile to ask for a quieter room facing the back.

From the moment I entered the experience was good. There was a choice of venues for food although usually fas food. There was a garage close to the hotel but that wasn't a problem. For a budget hotel, this was very good. It met all my requirements and I certainly will stay there again with no hesitation

My room was £37 once I paid for the early check-in. It was difficult for me to find the place as I thought, being opposite Northampton Town football club, THAT would be heavily signposted with the usual brown leisure road signs. It isn't. Anyone else relying on road signs would do well to know that the football ground is called... More
