Stayed at this hotel last weekend and was disappointed with some things. The service when we arrived was very good hence the 2/5 rating. Then things went downhill. The rooms had lots of mildew in the shower including the actual shower head itself. The beds themselves were small and at 6ft my legs stuck out of the end of the... More

i booked to stay here for 2 consecutive nights from 12th January to the morning of the 14th with 8 other members of my family for a family funeral. I made my booking over the phone with one of the owners Micheal. He told me the price of the room and asked for my card details as security incase of... More

Its a bit of an ordeal to get to the rear car park. Its a very narrow, unkempt lane, obstructed by badly parked vehicles. & once your in the car park there is not a lot of room & you will be blocked in, but the proprietor does manage it well. Check in was quick & painless, we allocated room... More

I booked this hotel for a one night stay after I read reviews on Trip Advisor . Some did make me feel that I had made a mistake but we were very pleasantly surprised . We arrived quite late on Saturday evening and this proved to be no problem , the gate to the car park was opened for us... More

On arrival the entrance to the car park was down an extremely narrow alley which was not even properly lit. The walls in the alleyway had bushes that easily grazed the car. The room was moderate but cold - but not cleaned properly with cobwebs hanging in ceiling corners. Total lack of power in the shower and no hot water... More

I stayed at the Langham Hotel last week whilst taking my daughter to a university audition. The staff were very welcoming and showed us around the hotel. The rooms were really nice with good sized beds and lovely bathrooms. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a great choice of foods. The hotel was spotlessly clean and I would stay there... The Langham hotel I would suggest in more like a Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are fairly dated and in need of a little refurbishment, the bathroom we had is the 'old style green' suite, with the shower tiles not looking very clean - although they were - age made them look dirty. All essentials were in the room such... More

This is a perfectly nice hotel that probably hasn't been updated since it was founded in (apparently) 1975. The decor was on the cusp of becoming "charming" rather than "dated", but everything worked OK, though it took me a while to work out how to plug in the (much needed) electric radiator. Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly.... More

The Langham is more like a large B&B or hostel rather than a hotel. It is in desperate need of refurbishment in all areas. A 20 minute hike from the train station on foot, on a busy main road and the very old plastic windows which can't be closed properly mean the road noise is not conducive to a good... More
