I think the person (who only gave this a very good)'s finger may have slipped. I'm posting from Shepherds Row at the moment on our second visit and can say this is definitely the place to stay if you're in the Daventry, Rugby, Northampton area. Many thanks to Jane and Charles for accommodating us at very short notice just before... More

Stayed in this very comfortable b&b in the annex accomadation which was spacious and comfortable. The owners are both friendly and professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Breakfast was locally sauced and very tasty especially the home made bread and marmalade. We will be returning to stay again many thanks to you both. Andrew &Jennifer Knight

We stayed in the twin room for 2 nights in December whilst visiting family in nearby Northampton. It is a little way away from N'hampton, but we picked the B and B because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed! The beds were very comfortable and the room was fresh and clean, with facilities to make a hot drink,... More

Have just enjoyed a lovely weekend stay at Shepherds Row. The annex was perfect for the four of us, the beds were comfortable, the shower was great, there were loads of soft towels and we also really enjoyed the homemade biscuits. Breakfast was a real treat, an excellent range of dishes all freshly cooked by Jane, found it quite difficult... More

Had an overnight stay with my wife on 5th Sept. A most enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. Jane and Charles met us with a very warm welcome as we arrived .There is off-road parking opposite the front door which is situated on the corner of a small side turning off the main road. Beautifully decorated with a sheep theme... More

Was on a weekend break mixed with business. Very comfy room and excellent breakfast. Loved the homemade biscuits. When I left my makeup bag behind Jane posted it to me free of charge. Ideal base for walking and site seeing. Would stay here again.

Jane and Charles were excellent hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home. We stayed in the annex and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Charles directed us to the Foxton Locks which was a lovely side trip we hadn't expected. We only were able to stay one night in this quaint... More

Very convenient stopover near the M1. Quiet village. Pretty row of cottages, lots of colourful flowers outside,. Cosy, modern, bright and comfortable rooms. The shepherds scheme is tastefully showpieces within the accommodation. I particularly liked the quilts and the sheep tea cosy. I nearly forgot the welcoming (toy) collie dog in the entrance hall. Our hosts were very helpful and... More

Jane & Charles are very welcoming and friendly hosts. Given the Anexe room which is spacious, private and well appointed. Appreciated the assistance received from Charles regarding places of interest, directions and booking a table for us at The Pytchley in the village where the food was excellent. Jane presents a lovely breakfast selection and her poached eggs (for which Charles... More
