As a single traveller, it's wonderful to be greeted by such a friendly hostess and host, Debra and David. The room included every amenity one needed. The location was perfect, a quiet residential area, within easy walking distance to the Minster and centre of town (with a Sainsbury's on the way for snacks). Bowmans is on a quiet residential street away from the hustle and bustle of the city of York. It is a leisurely stroll away from all the many things to do. We are so glad we chose Bowman's Guesthouse. Everything was perfect. Very friendly people. Short walking distance to the city centre, but still quiet. Very tidy. Excellent breakfast. We'd definitely stay there again on our next trip to York. more
