We stayed for 2 nights at St Georges, our second recent visit to the beautiful city of York. We were welcomed on arrival and given the family room on the ground floor. This was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice sized bathroom with shower. Breakfast was really nice, with a good choice of cereals and cooked... More

Stayed at the B&B last month. I don't normally write reviews but I so enjoyed my stay that I feel obliged to do so in gratitude on this occassion. The room was warm, clean and very comfy. I usually dread beds away but I found this so soft, had no problems there. The furniture was an excellent standard. Andy and... More

We recently stayed at St. Georges B&B and could not fault anything. Our stay was amazing, we were given the front family bedroom, plenty of space, beautifully clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Shower room was also spacious and good water pressure. Andy the owner and his family were friendly, courteous, helpful and funny. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

I recently stayed at St Georges Bed and Breakfast and I honestly dont have a negative comment. The rooms were clean, inviting and cosy. Andy, the owner, was so lovely and hilarious! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will be going back very soon. About 10 minutes away from the centre of beautiful york, it was just perfect, and... More

Stayed 3 nights in this great B&B.. Good location, Nice and quiet but close enough to stroll into the centre. Room (no 3) was nice and big, comfy and clean with a great shower. Breakfast hard to fault. Parking can be fun so look for a space on the street - but dont block the drive..... Well recommended and Kittson... More

Our second time here, as we enjoyed it so much last time. Nothing to fault, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great, good ingredients well cooked and bedroom comfortable and clean, with a good efficient shower. Kittson of course is a star and was usually to be found snoozing outside our room (just beside a radiator of course). Andrew is... More

We stayed here during the last weekend of January for two nights. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly - including a very lazy ginger cat! The hotel was spotless, the bathroom especially was fantastic as it had been refurbished around a year ago. The breakfasts were great, a nice touch to have it... More
