Stayed for just one night for wife's birthday. On a Saturday in York getting a room for one night is very difficult but no problem here. Vera lovely and very welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. Full English breakfast very good and left full and happy! Would come again gladly. More

In common with many found this after searching for others as we only needed one night in view of a wedding. Really glad we found it as after staying at a nice although very corporate chain hotel the night before this was perfect. This was our second visit here during the Xmas market, and will stay here again. Excellent location, short walk from city centre, with free car park during stay. Room small but everything you need. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. More
