Lovely rooms in a location within short walking distance to most York attractions. Sarah the proprieter is very welcoming and attentive, and provided us with excellent customer service! There is only street parking available, however, we never had an issue finding a space. Would definately recommend.

As a solo traveller it isn't always easy to find a b&b with single rooms - if they have its often too pricey. The Grange Lodge has a very nice single room - small but ensuite and with everything you need and a sensible price.
