Firstly, this is a great location around 10-15 minutes walk along the river from the centre of York. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Stayed one night for my wife's birthday. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Room was basic but very comfortable and superb value for money. Unlike some of the 'big chain' hotels this place has charm and character. Big car park, lovely breakfast and just a short walk into centre of York.
