A great place to stay with children with very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, lovely guest lounge, delicious breakfast and easy parking. The ten minute stroll into town is also pleasant. Excellent value and highly recommended!

i went to the york priory with my partner for a romantic weekend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and this hotel really set the scene! the room was big (and clean, with big soft towels and sheets/duvets etc...), the bed was very comfortable, the en-suite bathroom (with bath) was spotless, the garden was well kept, looked great and complimented...

We booked here the night before our stay, we arrived just after 2pm(the earliest check in time) and were made to feel welcomed from the get go. All the staff were amazing, the room was clean, modern and had all, if not more, amenities that you would expect. The en-suit was spotless, modern and had lovely fresh towels. The tea+coffee...

The guesthouse had very friendly and helpful staff, it was in a great location only about 15 minute walk to the centre. We stayed in a family room which has seen better days, it was in need of refurbishment and updating. The breakfast was very nice and a good choice on the cooked breakfast. The B & B is not...

Firstly, this is a great location around 10-15 minutes walk along the river from the centre of York. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. It was easy to find and has a good sized car park, there is a bar service available and a nice garden at the rear. All good so far however...

Stayed one night for my wife's birthday. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Room was basic but very comfortable and superb value for money. Unlike some of the 'big chain' hotels this place has charm and character. Big car park, lovely breakfast and just a short walk into centre of York.
Stayed for 3 nights, Hotel is in a brilliant position , a lovely 10 min walk along the river to town, a very friendly B&B but sorry not a 4 star which was quite disappointing. We stayed in room 303 on the front,(traffic noise can be heard but that didnt bother us) a large family room that needs updating both...

All the staff were helpful and welcoming and we did enjoy our stay. We booked...

We were not going to leave a review as, sometimes, it's better not to say anything. However, one month later, we still feel disappointed with our short break in York.
We stayed in a family room which had, apparently, recently undergone a facelift. Unfortunately, the stained carpet had seen better days, the black mold around both the bath and bathroom...
