Visited this pub with my husband in November. I'm afraid I have to disagree with other reviews on here, I really disliked this place, it was reminiscent of an old working mans club. The beer tasted awful and the toilets were absolutely disgusting. Will definitely not be revisiting.

I was luck enough to stumble upon the Roman Bath when I got to York. Stayed for two nights in mid-October. Paul and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was also limited car parking which I was lucky enough to score. There is music most nights but it's finished by 11 and adds to the... More

My son and I recently stayed for two nights whilst visiting York. A great English pub in the centre of town, with friendly terrific staff who greeted us like long lost friends. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a great choice of breakfast and good pub grub for lunch. The pub doesn't provide dinner as there is a live... More

Myself and my partner have just been to the Roman Bath Inn for my Birthday Lunch. The food was ok but nothing special, the homemade pie was shop bought and burnt, the chips were not homemade ( although the menu did not state homemade) and the salad was limp. It had been warmed up in a microwave which was dissapointing.... More

My friends and I popped in her for a sedute afternoon drink after shopping all day. It was the only place not filled with hen and stag do's, not sure why as it was pleasant, good music and friendly staff. The main reason this pub gets an excellent is --- for the first and hopefully last time, I left my... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Roman Bath Inn a few times now and we absolutely love it. The staff are really friendly and I just love the choice at breakfast times from full english breakfast to smoked salmon..... The entertainment is on every night and the bands are usually very very good. A good central location and... More

We stayed here after getting a cancellation after originally popping in for a pint but decided to stop the night. We paid £75 for a Saturday night and that inc breakfast which was absolutely top notch inc fresh orange coffee and full English plus full rack of toast. The history of the place also benefits a Roman museum under the... More
