We stayed here for one night on Saturday 19 July and really enjoyed it. We arrived a bit later than planned due to the traffic, therefore missing our parking slot which we had pre-booked, but the Manager Paul promptly offered to knock £10 off the bill which we thought was very generous of him. We were quickly shown to our... More

The Roman Bath Inn is centrally located in York and I found it quite easily. I was very impressed by the positive and friendly greeting I received from the manager, and the staff were all very professional, courteous and cheerful. I was also impressed by the room which was to a great standard, with a great array of hot drinks... More

Quick service even when it's busy, a good atmosphere. We always come here when we're in York. Toilets are always clean too. Haven't tried the food but from what I saw on the plates it. looked delish. Prior to our recent visit we came at Christmas and it has a lovely festive atmosphere.

Wanted an overnight stay in York for a Saturday night only and was surprised to find this city centre pub offering one nights accommodation at an extremely competitive rate. We arrived a little early but this did not appear to be a problem and were shown straight to our room. The room was just as expected. The DIY breakfast was... More

We stayed at the Roman Bath Inn last weekend, such friendly and accommodating staff. The room we had was the family room. A large room which was clean warm and inviting. I would recommend it, its a little gem. A central location ideally suited for all of Historic York's attractions.will definitely stay again prices are very good and the staff... More

We stayed here for one night (Saturday) during our Christmas road trip around the UK. It was perfectly located, right in the city centre next to all the shops, pubs, markets etc. The rooms are above a nice traditional pub which has great live music on a Saturday night. Unfortunately when the pub closed and we went to bed, the... More

Nice pub, central location and friendly quick service. The décor is a little dated but not to deter from the overall quality, its a nice bar to relax with your shopping bags, and chill for a couple of hours.

I was staying there the night of the last review (i think) and I have to say that the reviewer was the rude person. He told the barmaid that she was no-one because she was a barmaid. And his friend was asleep on the bar so the barman said he wouldn't serve him anymore. Rooms were lovely and a breakfast... More

Awful place. In need of major renovations, very tired.. Staff rude & arrogant, especially Chris the barman & Paul the manager. I am a York resident, If you are visiting York then there are hundreds of better places to have a drink and something to eat. Don't waste your time, more importantly don't wast your money.
