We stayed at the Roman Bath Inn last weekend, such friendly and accommodating staff. The room we had was the family room. A large room which was clean warm and inviting. I would recommend it, its a little gem. A central location ideally suited for all of Historic York's attractions.will definitely stay again prices are very good and the staff... More

We stayed here for one night (Saturday) during our Christmas road trip around the UK. It was perfectly located, right in the city centre next to all the shops, pubs, markets etc. The rooms are above a nice traditional pub which has great live music on a Saturday night. Unfortunately when the pub closed and we went to bed, the... More

Nice pub, central location and friendly quick service. The décor is a little dated but not to deter from the overall quality, its a nice bar to relax with your shopping bags, and chill for a couple of hours.

I was staying there the night of the last review (i think) and I have to say that the reviewer was the rude person. He told the barmaid that she was no-one because she was a barmaid. And his friend was asleep on the bar so the barman said he wouldn't serve him anymore. Rooms were lovely and a breakfast... More

Awful place. In need of major renovations, very tired.. Staff rude & arrogant, especially Chris the barman & Paul the manager. I am a York resident, If you are visiting York then there are hundreds of better places to have a drink and something to eat. Don't waste your time, more importantly don't wast your money.

Recently stayed in the family room with my friends. It was bright clean and had all the facilities we needed. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfast was perfect and we will definitely be going back next year. Only 1 downside was the music coming from a club nearby till 4am.

The room was clean and the location is great. The room was very noisy though both from the street and from the pub. The staff were unhelpful when we asked for suggestions as to where to leave the car.

Today (18th) me and my parter, mother and nana went to the museum part of the inn, absolutley fantastic! The young Canadian man giving the talk was soooo pleasant and charming, full of information but managed to keep your interest throughout! Lovely lad! Food was excellent also ignore the rate on the rooms as we didn't sleep, will go again!... More

Friendly lovely pub but the baths underneath are excellent, well kept and the man on entery has all the time in the world to talk about what you can see and explain what it would have been like. It's worth a visit.
