We felt comfortable from the start in this lovely B and B. Adrian and Ann are great hosts, so knowledgeable and helpful with information. They even let us come by and drop our luggage off very early and did not seem inconvenienced by anything. On the contrary, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! We stayed... more

The room we had was right at the front and on the lower ground floor, we were worried about the possible noise from the traffic, but it was not a problem whatsoever. The breakfast was outstanding and the little goodies with the tea/coffee in the room were very welcome. The wifi internet access was great, much better than the so... more

Upon arrival we were given plenty of advice on things to do, places to see and what were the best restaurants to eat at. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. En suite was modern and clean with all the usual freebies you get at B&B's. Breakfast was amazing. We were so full it kept us... more

This guesthouse was great - and it's just as its website shows. We stayed in room 7 on a weekend break in York (which is wonderful), and it was lovely, and even lovelier when you stop to notice the little details, like the antique furniture, the complimentary sherry (yes, I had a drop or two!), and Portmeirion Pottery (made in... more

My husband and I ran across this B&B purely by luck. We were on the last leg of a month long trip to Europe and wanted a place close to the city center. This was the best suprise we could have asked for!! The couple who run the place are very friendly and helpful. They had suggestions for dinner and... more
