We were emailed by Les and Al as soon as our booking was confirmed, welcoming us and giving us tourism advice. Fabulous B&B right in York. We spent 3 nights here enjoying our lovely room and very yummy breakfasts, especially the freshly baked bread. Our room and ensuite was spotlessly clean and we appreciated all the little extras that helped make our stay comfortable, especially the hairdryer. Al and Les made us welcome and were helpful and friendly. The information folder...

This is the second time we have stayed here and will stay there again in the future.
Very friendly, welcoming and relaxed. Breakfast was 1st class.
We liked the helpful information of things to see locally, particularly the more unusual places to find.

The river and museum gardens are also only a few minutes away. There is...

We had a clean, comfortable, characterful room with decent storage space, a hot shower and a comfortable bed. We slept like logs....

When we're asked to name the number one selling point of our small business, we both answer, without hesitation, "Breakfast". We do have other strengths, but our breakfast package tops the list. Considering: choice, quality, freshness of ingredients, preparation, presentation, service, and ambience within the dining room, our offering is "outstanding" according to our last "Quality In Tourism" assessment, and...
