My husband and I just got back from traveling through the UK for 12 days. Abbeyfields was a FAVORITE and made our experience in York outstanding! The hospitality was out of this world and Al and Les were kind to suggest things to do in York. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread! They made us feel at home!

A fantastic B and B. Friendly owners, modern and clean in a superb location 5 minutes walk from York Minster. With freshly made bread for breakfast what more could you ask for? Would highly rocommend.

The weather was unseasonably cold but our stay at Abbeyfields helped a lot to warm things up. Mostly we talked to Les who was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts to start the day. We had the top room. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This was our second visit to Abbeyfields and it just gets better! Al and Les were once again the perfect hosts - nothing being too much trouble for them. Breakfasts are superb - more than enough to eat. Rooms are well-appointed and very pleasant. Nothing to complain about at all. We feel sure we will be visiting again.

Abbeyfields is probably the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in, and certainly the best value. Les and Al provided not only a delightful, clean and cosy room and a fantastic breakfast, but there were other nice touches like fresh flowers and the alluring smell of fresh bread baking every morning!
