After you have worked out how the English road system works, Chombeys in the small village of Tollerton is easy to find. When we first arrived, it was a little disconcerting to enter the back of the house, and find no way of notifying that we had entered, but the hostess quickly found us. Chombeys is a large private house... more

Breakfast runs from 7.30 to 9. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break, don't come here - the two young kids are given the run of the house while mum cooks breakfast (so from 6.45am on). There's no way you'll be able to sleep through the noise as the house is wooden floorboarded - if they're not shouting down... more
