This is the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast stay I have ever experienced. Not only is beauty in the eye of the beholder due to the decor and comfort but also because the hosts are so welcoming and so obliging. Their friendliness and attention to detail makes all the difference. Stay at Morsel House now!!

We found this place in our frustrating last minute search for a reasonable hotel or B&B near the abbeys of Yorkshire, and so glad I found them. The place is hard to find due to lack of signages in the site or along the way, but owners will initiate guiding you. It's a lovely 'mini-stately home' in middle of a... More

I stayed here for just one night whilst on a business trip and and was nothing but impressed with every aspect. The comfiest bed and the perfect peace and quiet was such a lovely aspect as well as the exceptional friendliness and standards from the owners. Fenalla and Nicholas are the perfect hosts. The bed was very comfortable, my sleep was the best in years, it is so quiet. The breakfast delicious and Nicholas made absolutely certain I had all I wanted. They even left me a hot water bottle. I look forward to my next visit Jackie Cox

Working nearby I wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable; Morsel House delivered these in abundance. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and genuinely happy to take care of us or just let us get on with our own business. Whilst this was a work trip I would definitley recommend it as a couples break away. It's close enough to York... More

Selected this randomly from the net for an overnight near York. Real find....comfortable, friendly and relaxed. Great country location and secluded. We were out until the early morning at a party but this was no problem as we were provided with the front door key. Could be difficult to find....so take the satnav.
