Self check in computer outside front door is impersonel. After check in and entering building, no staff so just made our way to room. Stayed in value twin room, which was very small and narrow, almost no where to put our two suitcases with out steppin over them. Was decorated nicely. Free wi-fi. And ensuite ok. Noise of traffic is... more

We booked the 'family 4' room for me, my wife and 2 kids. Upon arriving the manager upgraded us to a 6-person room absolutely free! Even though they probably wasn't going to sell it and it's something they sometimes do with other rooms, they still didn't need to do this so the extra space was a luxury. The room was... more

The only reason I gave this B&B a poor rating is because of my unlucky experience. Although the place looked very clean and the rooms seemed nice, I was very happy with the place until I woke up the next morning. Everypart of my skin that wasn't covered by what I wore to bed was covered with bed bug bites....I... more

The website for this establishment sends out all the right messages and telephone contact re-enforces this feeling. This was our first trip away with our baby and we were operating on a budget - Blossoms seemed to offer all the essentials at an affordable price. We booked well in advance - selected a "quiet" room (as advertised) - telephoned the... more

All the way from sunny South Africa, after our working holiday in the United Kingdom, my friend and I found this cute little place in York. For awesomely low tariffs, you won't find anything better. We were treated very well and the warm friendly and peaceful atmosphere is something not to miss. We were very tired after a long day... more

Was down with daughter to check out York as possible university option. Blossoms was ideally situated as we could walk into the centre of York very easily and free parking, although limited, was available for us. Our room was clean, bright, freshly decorated and plenty room for us both. Good value for money. more
